He patted her on the head, "People kinda always dress up fancy when they go to an art gallery, I can get my sister to lend you an outfit if you wish?"

Beatrice frowned as she appeared a little behind Nina on the roof, and easily scaled her way down to sit next to the guardian. "Any reason you're sat on a roof? It's not particularly normal is it? If someone looked up and saw us you'd be in trouble." She frowned slightly and held out a hand for Nina to shake, "Beatrice of Shadow you are...?"

"In America, you dress nice for one... Not really fancy, just nice..." her resolved weakened. "Do I really need to dress that good to go to this gallery?" she asked with a forced smile.


Pestilence, at that moment; did just that. "Howdy you two!" he hollered. "Now; I'm going to make this quick and put the girls to sleep so we can get this power situation under control!" he knew how bad that sounded... But frankly; he didn't care.
They were down a man, and then some with Famine working against them with Zania's help... War and Vic were constantly on each other, or in each others pants, even after Victoria fought so hard to get them to work together... Bea was the only one he really had no qualms with working with...
Any more drop-ins and he'd talk to the big guy himself. Yup.
He'd just storm up-stairs, to the back and give God a good; what-for.

As usual, Lorelai wasn't very quick to jump into the conversation. She was silent as she climbed into the passenger seat and buckled her seat belt, figeting with her hair as Evelyn and Cyrus blabbed up a storm. Her thin fingers tucked the pale pink strands behind her ear and then covered the tip again, going through this agitated pattern until the subject of "Bob" came up. "You're such a dork, Evelyn. Just wear a casual dress and remember not to give Mr. Charming the goo-goo eyes too often. And believe me when I say your goo-goo eyes are pretty pathetic." She cast a grin back at Evelyn as she spoke. Though she was being rude as usual, there was more of a friendly air to her blunt advice that was quite unusual for her.

Cyrus frowned at the girls, "I have no idea, nor do I want to know, what on earth goo-goo eyes are. Do they spew gunk out? I'll stick to the eyes spewing out blood. Perfect for Halloween." He leaned across to kiss Lorelai on the cheek before buckling up his own seatbelt - he really wanted to be in no more car crashes thankyou very much - and driving off to this hospital that Evelyn was so fussed about.

Evelyn gave Lorelai an uncomfortable look. "Oh come on. It can't be THAT bad..." she noticed the tone Lorelai spoke in, deciding to end on a slightly silly note. "It can't be worse than the look you give Cyrus when he's not staring," she chuckled. "And besides; he just asked me out. That doesn't mean anything really. I've been asked out before, and had it been nothing!... I HOPE it's not nothing but..." she trailed off with a smile. "REALLY hope... But I still know it could be nothing at all!"

Cyrus started humming the wedding tune that halfway through became the soundtrack to Star Wars. "Don't worry, WE'LL GET YOU TO THE CHURCH ON TIME DEAR EVELYN! TO THE CHURCH!" He wound down the window and shouted, "MY FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED!" And there were a few horns sounded from other cars when they noticed who was shouting out the window.

A hand popped over Cyrus's mouth and two hands grabbed the steering-wheel, driving quite nicely, as Cyrus latched himself on the hand that had appeared.
Evelyn sat in the back seat, arms crossed and face redder than... Well, a lot of things, but that's a moot point. "NOPE."

Cyrus grumbled, trying to smack hands away from the steering wheel and his mouth. He wasn't happy with those hands driving the car, no chance. He gave a muffled yell at Evelyn, getting agitated that they might be in a car crash because of magical hands.
