Aela held him tight before looking at him "I'm so sorry I yelled...I was angry..scared..and hurt.. I just wanted you to let me in again..let me be here for you...I cant stand to be useless..nor the thought of losing you..."

Claire chuckled softly at Falken, rubbing his ears softly. before looking at Sen again. "I'm sure alese picked up on my friends suffering. Hes a memory delver, very useful in the vampire world...but a living hell to the vampire itself."

"we have all day..and with winter coming again, we'll defiantly get that." he smiled softly, kissing her head "They'll be back."

Demitri chuckled and nodded, retrieving the fox aand handing it to her. "we gotta be fast, dawns not too far away. You wanna try again tonight and just feed on the supplies in the castle?"

Alese nodded slightly. She sank her fangs into the fox's neck and smirked as it jerked once before it fell limp. Once done with it Alese gritted her teeth feeling her leg healing its self. She growled softly through the pain and shuddered.

Jaden cuddled back up to Jordan and closed her eye. "I just wish I wasn't so useless right now. I still cant do half of what I used to be able to, and Its hard for me to be awake during the day anymore."

Sentinel frowned "Where was this friend of yours when she was hurting?"

Hiro just stayed silent and seemed to pull back from Aela, almost like a small child would when they're uncomfortable.

Aela looked at him, slowly letting go "Hiro?..." she asked softly.

"My home...he bit his mate, and witnessed all the suffering she went through when he vanished after he was turned, including the loss of their newborn son." she said softly, sighing. "Must have been stronger on her due to her own pregnancy."

"Your not useless, your still my amazing girl, you just need to relearn some things, its not that horrible." he said softly.

demitri rubbed her leg gently, fingers gliding over her skin to make sure everything was in order on the inside. "There we go...but to be safe." he smirked, and scooped her up into his arms,

Alese blushed and wrapped her arms around Demitris neck. Her eyes were slowly returning to blue again as she relaxed.

Sentinel frowned "That still shouldn't have affected her so bad. She shouldn't have felt his pain like that" He grabbed a bowl fro his bag along with his water then, after pouring the water in, he said a quiet spell and showed Claire exactly what everyone at teh palace was going through while Alese's screams were muted.

Jaden rolled her eyes and chook her head "Its more than a few things. It took me a while to even get teh hang of walking again, and I still struggle with that sometimes

Hiro pulled away and whined/growled lowly curling up on the bed. He felt so weak now.

Aela frowned and sighed softly, lowering her head. she placed some blood on the table beside him and sat by the stairs, looking at the ground sadly.

"Well you have me to help" he said softly, kissing her head.

Claire looked at it, pondering softly. "When a family has one mage, theres magic though out the rest...perhaps your sister's gifts are released now, in a more vampiric way. she always knew when good people where suffering...perhaps now she knows when a good hearted vampire is in pain.."

Demitri smiled and nuzzled her softly, growling happily "Hang on" he said as he dashed back to the castle.

Alese giggled and nuzzled into Demitri.

Sentinel frowned "She shouldn't have had any power....she wasn't....ours....Alese was adopted because her real parents were killed by vampires, so we took her in and made her apart of our family before she was given to lord hawke's family"

Jaden smiled softly and and looked at jordan. "And I can't thank you enough for that my love."

Hiro stayed where he was and glanced at Aela a few times.

Claire looked in surprise, sighing softly "makes since now... You two are nothing alike. But she has a gift none the less." She said softly.

Jordan smiled softly "there is nothing to thank for... I love you. I'll care for you no matter what."

Demitri smirked softly, at the last moment and released his wings, the metallic like appendages managing to catch enough air to shoot the pair up and towards the bedroom window. He released his talons and grabbed the window sill, a load crunch under him. He pulled himself up and swung into the room, holding Alese still. "That was fun." He chuckled softly.

Aela sat there, staring at the floor, wondering if he hated her now

Sentinel looked at the sky and sighed "She shouldn't be special unless they stole her from someone else."

Jaden chuckled softly "Jordan, aside from you, I've never had anyone really care about me in my life"

Alese smiled brightly and ran her fingers up into his hair. Her blue eyes were clear and bright glowing slightly. "Hm....that was different. I'm not used to you using your wings often love"

Hiro shuddered hard and curled up. He was nothing more than a child in a sense now.

"The had skills with healing before I met her, and when shes angry or happy, you can feel it take over yourself as well. She knows when loved ones are in pain...tell me you have not felt something in her before." Claire said softly.

"Well that's change" he smiled "you have Alese, Hawke in his own, grumpy, leader way, and of course me before all others." he said. "You have a family now who counts you among their own."

"I cant really use them other than for mild gliding, too heavy for flight." he chuckled, "Just for show, protection, and making sure my mate cant leave while I sleep." he teased, kissing her hand playfully.

Alese blushed lightly and smirked as her mind went to the whole reason she had to change in the first place and mumbled "Along with other things" She then kissed his jaw softly and rested her cheek against his shoulder and closed her eyes just relaxing. She felt safe and calm so close to him "I love you Demitri"

Jaden's eye teared up slightly. The word family hurt her. She didn't know why though. She slowly pulled away from Jordan and sat up on her bed. 'whats wrong with me? Why am I so bloody emotional?'

Sentinel shook his head slightly and sighed "I only knew her for a year, and in that time she never showed any potential at all.....she was given away when she was still very young. All I knew was she was smart and a fast learner. Its why our parents gave her up, unlike me, she showed no potential to have power, only a bright mind, and she wasn't truly theirs to begin with."
