Jaden smiled weakly but didn't say a word.

Hiro shook his head and looked outside to judge the time and see if he could make it back to his own human.

Alese shook her head not willing to say anything until they were alone. She closed her eyes and rested her head against his chest looking fragile.
The man looked at Demitri and glared at Alese "My lord"
Alese's eyes snapped open hearing the voice that had threatened her not long ago.
"She may be a witch to save miss Jaden, but she broke into the library and was contemplating stealing this" He held out the box Demitri had given Alese
"I take it she's not happy here and was planning to sell these and run away."

Alese's eyes hardened again but she was too tired to fight much more. All she managed was to whisper "You're an idiot. I love it here."
He glared at her with a look in his eyes saying if Demitri wasn't holding her he'd hit her again.
"You had no reason to be in the library Alese! We all know you can't read!!"
That stung when Alese heard him and made her eyes tear up.

Demitri growled lowly. "No one in my palace smacks another around, punishment is let to be felt by me" he snarled, eyes flaring up in rage as he snatched the box "besides, do you have any evidence of this? Perhaps she was retrieving them for me, and stopped to admire them" he hissed, before looking at Alese "thank you for trying to complete my orders, and I apologize about this fool attacking you." He said as he placed her on a chair. "You, where as I'd normally punish this behavior, I'm going to let you walk away. But spread the word, if I so much as suspect someone abusing another, there will be hell to pay"

Jordan sighed and shook his head "I'm serious though... I would die without you" he said as he carried her to the blood room.

The man growled and walked off grumbling under his breath it was Alese's fault.
Alese's head was bowed. Tears stung her eyes but she didn't dare let them fall. 'Just because I'm not book smart like the others I have to be picked on all the time? I do more than anyone else here, I save everyone whenever I know they're hurt, and this is my thanks? No.....No I'm done. The others here can help themselves and cover their own shifts from now on.'

Jaden struggled to open her mouth and whispered "Yo're.....already.....dead, just li.....like me."

Hiro had watched Demitri and the man. He followed the man towards the door and hit him hard over the head "Look, I might not live here like all of you, but thats no reason to take it out on the human. She's no witch either. " Though in his own mind he was thinking she might be too, he wouldn't let the man get away with upsetting the girl who'd just saved one of their own kind when She could have let the girl die.

Demitri held her close and nuzzled into her "shhh... It's alright... I wanted to rip that stupid mortals heart out for touching you like that..." He said quietly. He turned around, hearing a smack. He chuckled softly "hmm... I like that kid. Knows his place, but isn't afraid to call out the wrong." He looked at Alese softly, quickly stealing a hidden kiss "I promise, it won't be long now before your the boss." He whispered.

"I mean dead dead, I'm currently in dead" he chuckled softly, getting her several blood packs "here, these will help fuel you back up enough to go for a quick hunt"

Alese sniffled and looked at her hands whispering "Phox needs you my lord" She knew there were still others around and wouldn't let them see her fall to pieces. She slowly looked at him with tears in her eyes.

Hiro had just barely caught what Demitri had said and blinked 'thats impossible. She's a human like i was. She can't become more than me and anyone with my ranking wouldn't respect her enough to listen to her anyway.' He then opened the door and looked over his shoulder at the palace before shooting off back towards the cabin and Aela. It had been a long night and he wanted to be around someone who was sane again.

Jaden smiled weakly but winced. Everything hurt on her.

"Take it easy now he said, sitting her down so he could help her feed.

Demitri frowned softly, shutting the door before sitting next to her. "Please confide in me Alese, I am not your lord... I am your... What do the humans call it... Your fiancé. " he said quietly, only loud enough for her ears only. "I would like you to trust in me" he said quietly.

Aela sighed softly as she streaked Morgans fur as her beloved pet rested. She went to the fire, which had water starting to boil, taking a wooden like mug out and made some tea. She kept glancing at the door, and the flowers Hiro gave her. She couldn't help but worry.

Alese waited until the door was closed before her tears fell. She hugged Demitri close and sniffled. She hated when people pointed out she couldn't read. She'd been working at it for a long time and still wasn't the best but she got the jist of things easy enough. Alese let her tears fall not wanting to try to talk until she could calm down. She gripped his shirt slightly as she cried.


Jaden breathed shakily and shuddered hard.

Hiro pushed himself to move faster but started cursing when he tried to stop running near the Cabin only to trip himself and slam into the door groaning. "ow"

Demitri held her close, rubbing her back softly "Shh... It's alright, it's alright"" he winced a little bit when she put just a little too much pressure on his chest, but ignored the rest of his pain.

Jordan growled softly and held an open bag to her "drink love"

Aela screeched a little, dropping her mug as Morgan shot up in a panic "easy girl, easy.." She said softly, "Hiro? " she asked softly, opening the door "hey, what happened? She asked softly.

Hiro fell into the cabin when the door opened and sat up. He coughed and grabbed his nose setting it back in place. "ooow! Ok, never go THAT fast again." He smiled softly as though he hadn't just slammed into the door trying to slow down and stood up hugging Aela close to him.

Alese slowly calmed down and hiccuped "I'm sorry Demitri. It just bothers me when people keep bringing up the one thing Jaden and I both struggle with."

Jaden shakily grabbed it and drank it quickly. The pains in her body slowly began to ease up, but she was still hurting.

"Atta girl" he said softly, placing two more beside her as he kissed her head.

Demitri looked at her with soft red eyes "don't be ashamed my love... Most are lucky to read... But you have me willing to teach you if you wish." He said softly "all you have to do is as for help and I'll be right there"

"Are you o-" she stopped when He hugged her. She giggled softly and hugged him back "well someone seems in a good mood"
