"Maybe." Jace hummed and finished his slice of pizza. He reached for another piece and happily bit into it. "I used to have a dogg" he told them and swallowed. "But he..... ran away."

Jae's mother put him down on their couch and cupped her hands on his face. "Stop it mom." Jae grumbled because of this mother's smothering. "What happened?" she whimpered, moving one of her hands away. "I turned, but I overdosed on the pills to stop myself. I'll be fine!" Jae insisted making his mother pout.
