Mallory ran, but heard loud running steps. She looked back as a crossbow was fired, missing her head by an inch. She gasped, and ran faster, before firing an arrow back to distract them, and her arrow missed the guard by a hair, landing in a tree. She then realized they needed to cross a bridge. "A bridge...? Oh goodness." Mal had never been fond of bridges. She called back her wolf friends and they appeared beside her.

She saw crossbow bolts fly past Mallory's head, it would take a while for them to cross the bridge and the guards may catch up with them. She could not take them on alone, that is why they are running but she may be able to distract them long enough for everyone to get across. Then she could just fly back to the other side, she flew back over the guards and shot some small purple fireballs hoping that they would focus on her.

Ari ran through the forest, after being chased by something. She stopped, catching her breath, realizing she wasn't being chased any more. As she looked ahead, she saw several other people. They looked nice, so she walked towards them, hoping they were friendly to a girl with powers like herself.
She had never been good at introductions. She was always awkward. "Hey, um, who are you guys?"

Kylie runs up to Ari. "Nothing was chasing you. It was just me and my caracals behind you." She said. She was wondering why Ari was walking up to people who SEEMED nice, but she wasn't totally sure. She was questioning whether she should have followed Ari or not. She looked at Ari and asked her, "What are you doing?!"

"We're uh, heading towards the sanctuary. I'm Jaai," she said, looking Ari up and down. "You... are trustworthy, correct?"
Jaai scowled as Ari nodded, and she sighed. She began to point out and name everyone who was already on the other side of the bridge.
"A few people haven't crossed yet, but they'll be here soon."

Kylie was frantic for a few minutes. "I"M MISSING A KITTEN!!" she exclaimed, looking everywhere. Kylie was about to turn around and go back across the bridge, until something grabbed her shoulder.

"I, uh-" She was about to answer Kylie when Jaai interrupted. "Nice to meet you, Jaai. I'm Ari," She mentioned to both the girls talking to her.

*Kylie made the look in my signature gif at Ari* Ari? Like air..? That's kinda weird. No one breathes you. She found her kitten playing with old sticks next to the woods behind her.

"No, it's short for Arianna, but i prefer Ari."

"Okay Mallory. We're the last ones," Cilan said. He didn't want to cross that creepy bridge, but it was necessary. Behind him, he could see the first of the guards coming into view. His friends were slowing them down, but not enough.
"Go," he said, holding his spear in a defensive position. "I'm right behind you. Go!"

Rowan and Cyprian had crossed the bridge. Cyprian, surprisingly, wasn't getting into any trouble. He turned to Ari and waved, but he didn't speak. He would probably say something wrong.
