“Thank you, I appreciate that.” Raylan thanked, a relaxed smile tucked on his face. He gave a soft laugh at Riley’s comment, looking down at the fruit basket with a gentle sigh. He’s still nervous about the possible wizards but from Riley’s words, Raylan felt a bit more at ease. “Thank you, Riles.” He thanked again, meaning it before turning to Nigel.
He gave a polite bob in greeting, pausing and examining Nigel’s features until he’s able to remember the guardian’s name and the witch he is bound to. “Good morning, Nigel.” Raylan greeted, shifting the fruit basket in a hidden gesture that they’re both free to take one. He glanced back at Riley. “Well for one, I’m going to need to get Brie. And I have to speak it over with my sister and the others... We may have to split into pairs to evaluate the sites quicker and more casually, to avoid attention.” Raylan paused, racking his brain for anything else to add. He looked down squinting at the floor. “And maybe a pair to stand guard here, just in case the... blackhearts find our location and drag assassins to it.” Raylan tilt his head up again, widening his eyes and glancing at between the two guardians.

⥉ Assassin Leader ⥉ Counter, Voodoo ⥉ Jeremiah, Tori ⥉
His eyes flicked back to Tori, examining her behaviour and build. He can’t say he’s not surprised, if anything the woman had a fiery red hair and looks like she would rather tear somebody’s head off than date someone like Jeremiah, a tad bit of a flirt if he says so himself. He turned back to Jeremiah, staring hard at him but still held a friendly smile nevertheless. Aaro knows he a capable individual bright with talent, and he trust the assassin well. Besides what’s he to say about dating? He never seen or knew a couple up close besides his parents and they’re usually professionally and polite in his presence. “Complete your tasks before busying yourself with candlelit dates.’ He thought, amused.
“I rather take Rosa or Cameron with me, they helped me a whole lot better at these topics.” He leaned forward on the counter, staring at Jeremiah with a laidback posture. “Let’s try and get it done today.” He smiled even more, a hint of sinister and mischief hidden beneath the playful expression. Why wait when they have a bright day today? After all, they have the almanac’s knowledge in their grasp. The opportunities unfolding are just too ripe to not take them up.
