Pari didn’t really understand why he was apologizing but she brushed it off because of his smile. Pari wasn’t a very sporty person but she promised her parents she would join some sort of sport and to work out to keep in shape.
“Do they have any running or gymnastics sort of sport?” she asked. One of those two would probably suit her the best.

"I bet we have track." He walked up to a cork board and pointed to a white paper with large black writing and a heading saying 'Track'. "Sign-ups next week." He said, turning back to her.

"Y-you... fell off... what?" She couldn't believe what she heard. As a cat, some falls were manageable. But... what about him? This seemed minor for a building fall.
"How? Why?" she skipped formalities, she was just so intrigued with this situation, plus she was being extra nosy for the sake of curiosity.

Pari was a little disappointed about the no gymnastics thing but running would have to do. Plus she wasn’t planning an actually trying on winning anything. She was just keeping a promise so she could stay here.
“Alright, yea I’ll do that. Thank you but the way. I appreciate the help,” Pari said giving an actual smile.
“Oh yea, is there anything else I need to know?” She asked.

He checked his watch. "Class starts in 10 minutes." He said quietly. He seemed to be containing his energy now, though he fidgeted with something in his pocket.

Avery Griffiths~T: Bird

"I uh.. Well... You see, I kind of... It was a small building. I was doing some parkour with a few of my friends and... One of them pushed me off." He rubbed the back of his neck. "But I'm fine."

Bird squinted but then stuck out her paw for a handshake.
"Well anyways, I'm Bird. What are you called?" she asked informally, she forgot not everyone says it that way and she cringed at herself a little. Her tail swept the floor tossing dust into the air slightly and dirtying her shorts.

"Avery. Avery Griffiths." He pulled one hand from his pocket and held it out to shake hers. He was firm but gentle. "Well, um... I guess your probably judging me a bit now." He laughed nervously. I need better friends.

"Actually, not at all, I'm impressed honestly".
She flicked her tail and tilted her head ever so slightly to the side.
"Usually the falling and jumping is my species specialty. I only know about them from books though, kinda raised by humans..." she shook her head.
"What about you, what's your story?" she felt awkward. Bird never really made friends before, this was a new experience to her and she felt herself bombing... hard.

Pari didn't realize the time. She was glad he knew, she didn't want to be late on her first day.
"oh, yea your right. What class re you doing to?" she asked.

He looked at a piece of paper from his pocket. "English." He sighed. "You?" He took a ring off his finger and fidgeted it between his fingers.

He put one hand in his curly hair and smiled akwardly. "Well, um... Foster parents." He slowly pulled his hand away and retreated it to his pocket. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you?" He tilted his head.
