I nod my head shakily and try to calm down by taking deep breaths. "I-It's not working." I say sadly as the Ice continues to spread, though at a slower rate.

"It's true, though. Your power is probably being fuelled by your emotions." Rina said. Getting an idea, she kept an ear out for any scientists coming. When she decided it was safe, she used her her seeing power to look at Ember's cell, her eyes becoming bluer and less faded as a result. "Didn't you notice? It's spreading a bit bit slower now, isn't it?" She'd noticed the sound of the ice forming becoming fainter, so she thought it might be because she was starting to calm down. Turning off her power, her eyes went back to normal as she faced the direction Ember and Ann were in.

Rina let out a breath she realized she was holding as she was pretty sure no scientists were around to see her use her power and become curious. "Practice, I believe, is the best way." she said. "If you avoid it, you won't be able to get it under control, so it's best to try and exercise it, I guess is how you can put it." Rina was a bit surprised to hear herself saying things like that, as she didn't have a power similar to Ember's. 'I guess it's because I've been here long enough to figure out how some of these things work..'
