No, I don't see this song as a complicated loverxlover song. What I connect this song too is just basically when you've messed up so many times you feel like you're just evil and no one can or should trust you. Kuñjo can get in a really foul mood if someone even tries to touch his mom and has the wrong kind of aura around them. And it often ends with fur flying.
And yes, with the 'this is my kingdom come' it's pretty accurate, if Kuñjo ever decides on leaving Helios' herd, Shiniko will follow him where ever. Even if that means she needs to leave that one equid she thinks of as her brother.
She would go to any extenct just to be with her son. That's how much she loves him.
And that little statement dosen't cover half of how strong her love for him is. She would do anything for me. If that even meant the cost of her own life.

~*Timer couldn't be more wrong, I let it run because if I closed it I knew I would never finish it. And at the start I was thinking of adding Helios and Rhapsody aswell. But decided that I wanted it to be like this instead.
