Long tail took a step forward, his tail lashing back and forth. "He won't catch a mouse with all that noise!" He yowled, his teeth glinting in the narrow sunlight. Rusty looked at the striped tom, then lowered his gaze, embarrassed. Lionheart prodded him with a paw. "This cat has threatened you. Do you back down from challenge?" The golden warriors' words encouraged Rusty, and he shook his head. "Never!" He cried, and he leapt at Longtail. Taken by surprise, Longtail didn't move fast enough, and Rusty locked his jaws on his left ear. Longtail wriggled, but Rusty didn't let go. But, Longtail managed to hit the small kittypet with his tail. Rusty slowly got up, and looked at his opponent. Blood dripped from his ear, which was half gone. "You're going to pay for that kittypet!" His words were cold, and his gaze was narrowed. Rusty gulped.

I had memories suddenly of Into the Wild so.. here we are.
