but at that point of time, saturn was in the way of earth. the rings of rocks going so fast that the capsule would be destroyed in one second if it fell in. but something else entirely happened. the capsule was traveling toward the earth, but had a slight lilt. by the time it reached earth, it would pass and hit the sun.
