Arwen was left behind by her pack so that her wound could take the time to heal and become simple scars. Regalis and Bloodstone offered to watch her and Aaron decided he would stay behind, ensuring that the pack would indeed come back for her. At the moment, only a few hours have passed. The pack, by now, is resting and digesting the food from their previous kill made earlier in the story.
