yes see jesse came to the pack as a child left behind and the leader (shadows father) let stay as a healer (Like a doctor) so the he can't have a mate ( the leaders plan) He and Shadow became friend but he always loved her. and when they did become mates they couldn't have children it would be found out. so when she got pregnant they were terrified. So yea forbidden loved
