That's actually my overall problem with this series.
I've only gotten part of the plot in my head, and I know that I want synesthesia to play a big role in it. (I have gotten it mixed in with greatly with Act 3, but right now the title doesn't seem to make sense.) If it is possible, would you mind if I send you the part I am talking about so I can hear your opinion on it?

Well, Harpalyce is right. I only told you a very small portion of the reason I named it that. Saying anything else about it would kill the plot. ;n;

If you want it to be a core part of the character, you need to work it in from the very start - there's my advice, anyway. You may have problems drawing it, but it'd be good into have him make comments like "these words taste wrong" or similar.

And thank you for the advice! I will definitely that idea out.
Although, Clifford may be one out of the two main characters, the issue with synesthesia doesn't focus on him in particular.

Hmmm. Well, if you're going to roll with the title Synesthesia, you've really got to make it a very core issue in the story.

Perhaps there is some sort of code or puzzle that needs to be solved, and synesthesia is the key to unlocking that code and therefore saving the world/etc?

Wait, what I mean is that Clifford having synesthesia is important to the plot, but in the story there is this "issue" that revolves around having Synesthesia among the "certain" test subjects.
It's really hard to explain without giving away the plot. ene
