Sunstar followed the apprentices out Rivermist on her tail and she turned to nightpelt and nightfire answering for the new mentor "sorry nightfire it's foxpaws first training session he has to come before he is left behind" Frostfire looked at frostpaw and mewed "want to go train with them?"

Meadowkit walked into the nursery and thought, "today was the toms day but we she-cats will catch up in no time." she purred to herself and sat by her friends

"Maybe we could go later" He mewed. Though he hated rejecting Nightfire like that, he knew he had new responsibilities as a mentor. Foxpaw needed his mentor there for his first training session.


Frostpaw

Frostpaw nodded her head quickly. "Yes" It would be nice to train with some other apprentices. Hawkpaw had a few moons more experience than herself. It would be nice to see what moves he has. Well in a not life-or-death situation that is.

Nightfire's ears fell back, then she very welly faked a smile that looked very real "ok later then!" she meowed and bounded off into the forest and climbing a tree and laid in it sighing sadly. she looked up at the sky and frowned, she looked around, hiden in the shadows of the trees.

Hawkpaw bounded out of the camp, his eyes alight with excitement. Not too many moons ago, he had been one of the new apprentices, but now, he was going to get a chance to demonstrate the moves he had been working hard on! Looking around, he slowed down his pace to match Frostpaw's.
"Frostpaw, are you excited to teach the new apprentices the moves we've been learning? I know I am." He mewed

Foxpaw looked around at all the sights and sounds and saw the warriors spread out in the training hollow by the edges and Sunstar mewed " ok I want hawkpaw and foxpaw with Rivermist and nightpelt and holwingpaw and frostpaw with me and Frostfire. I want frostpaw and hawkpaw to try to teach the new apprentices the battle move, front paw blow. " Frostfire smiled "I remember when that move saved my life... It winds the opponent for a brief moment long enough for you to slip away or do a move against the enemy" Sunstar nodded and looked at them "you may begin will help if needed"

"Of course!" Frostpaw exclaimed. It felt good to teach instead of being taught for once. Like she was one step closer to becoming a warrior. Yet if she messed this up, it would be like taking two paw-steps back. The thought of this made her suddenly nervous. When Sunstar split them into their groups and told them the move they would be teaching. Frostpaw moved over to her assigned group. Running to battle move in her head. Slowly she turned to Howlingpaw, showing no nervousness or excitement that she really felt. "To do the front paw blow you bring your paw down hard on you opponents head. Like this." She demonstrated the move on the trunk of a tree. "Your claws are sheathed so it doesn't do much damage. But like Frostfire explained, if gives you time to retreat or use another move against you opponent."

Howlingpaw followed them into the training hollow with a bounce in his step. He followed Sunstar's orders and split up to go over with Frostpaw. Frostpaw seemed like an experienced apprentice and had no doubt in her. He sat down, suppressing the urge to claw at a leaf that floated in front of his eye. He turned his head over to her and watched her demonstrate the front paw blow. He nodded, with a grin on his face. "Easy enough," he rumbled, and went to practice this move on the aged tree trunk.

(Also guys, tomorrow I'm leaving for the beach and I'm staying for a week. Luckily, the place has wifi, so when I'm not out doing stuff, I'll be able to RP! Just not tomorrow, since we are driving there.)

Hawkpaw's iridescent greenish-blue eyes lit up when he heard Sunstar announcing his name with the same authority as a warrior.
So this is what it feels like to be a mentor? he thought to himself, as he padded over to one of the trees in the hollow. He picked birch because the bark was papery, and when you clawed it, you could see the exact marks of where your paws hit the bark. Hawkpaw shifted his body so he was facing Foxpaw.
"The frontal paw blow is one of the most basic attacks, but it is really useful. All you do is position yourself in front of your opponent and then bring down your paw down on your opponents head, with your claws sheathed. It won't do much damage, but it will stun your opponent and probably hurt them enough to give you a moment to use another move that will hurt them." he mewed, flexing his long claws deep into the rich, earthy soil in the training hollow. He padded closer to the birch tree, demonstrating the move on the tree.
"Now your turn, Foxpaw."
