Sandpaw modded briefly to Tyson and looked up at Sunstar, choosing her words carefully. "Er.." She mumbled than raised her voice. "Yes, I do.. I knew him faintly when I was a loner."

Holly flicked her bright green eyes between Tyson and Sunstar. Sunstar seemed to be the one in charge- there was an aura of confidence and strength that practically glowed about her. She wriggled out of Tyson's grasp, landing on her tiny paws. She was the smallest of all the kits, but that didn't stop her from padding right over to Sunstar. "I'm Holly. May we speak to the cat who is in charge here?" She mewled, her voice small against the silence that followed her words.

Mistpaw nodded to Sunstar. "I brought this loner here because he needed help, and he agreed to let us take in the kits. They will be valuable additions to the clan, and both the medicine cat code and the warrior code say to not leave kits alone or in danger, so I thought to bring them here." She mewed to her leader, respectfully bowing her head when she was done. When she finished speaking, she detected a small black cat moving toward her leader, but she thought nothing of it. That is, until Holly spoke up to Sunstar like that! It wasn't the place of a kit to say that to a leader. Hopefully Sunstar wouldn't be offended because Holly was just a kit...

Flickerpaw watched Sunstar and Holly, wondering how Sunstar would react to the kit's words.

Sunstar towered over the kit and narrowed her eyes and mewed softly "I would watch you tongue even if you are a kit . Your not foolish so I would expect you to treat me with respect got that?" her teeth were slightly bared, she was aggravated today. She turned to mistpaw and mewed "you understand I must do the test with Tyson so please be a dear and aid his wounds so he will be fighting fit. She padded the the high rock and jumped up

Star

Star cringed when Sunstar bared her teeth. This didn't seem like a nice cat. Even if this cat was leader, she shouldn't treat her littermate that way! When the leader spoke of seeking Tyson wounds she relaxed a little bit. This only lasted a heartbeat as she realized something. Test! Fighting fit! She was going to make Tyson fight! He has done nothing wrong, only good. Star turned to Mistypaw. "What does she mean a test, why does he have to be fighting fit!" She questioned the cat assertively.


Goldenfeather

Goldenfeather shrugged, her golden eyes looked down at the forest floor. "I hope everyone made it." She meowed softly. The thought of loosing a clanmate because of a storm was unbearable. The kits were so small, they could have easily drowned if the nursery flooded. The elders could be too slow to get to safety. Goldenfeather shook the thoughts off, all her clanmates were safe. They had to be.

As Star cringed, Fernpaw sat down beside her silently, trying to tell her that she didn't need to worry. "I'm not sure..." She mewed absently to the kit, "I was born here..." Smiling kindly to the kit, she added, "Don't worry, Sunstar isn't really mean. She's a leader, so she wants respect from other cats, is all. Even though your sister is a kit, doesn't mean it's any different. Mainly is because the kits of our clan has lots of respect for her, even though they're young."

Star

Star looked up at Fernpaw, and listened at the apprentice talked to her. She could tell this was one of the nicer cats of the clan and knew that the clan cat was trying to comfort her. "She won't have my respect if she makes Tyson fight!" She meowed stubbornly."He has done nothing wrong!" Her sweet and innocent voice seemed to cover her anger, but Star didn't care at the moment.

Flickerpaw looked at Star gently. " he didn't do anything rong at all. Sunstar wants to make shure he's strong,fearless. Clan cats need these qualities to survive. She wont harm him beond a few bites and scratches." she mewed, wrapping her ginger tail around her paws.

Holly's eyes flashed when Sunstar growled back at her, but she stood her ground. As soon as the leader left, she scampered back to Tyson, Star, Mystic, and Oak. "She's so mean! Is she really going to hurt you Tyson? Do you think she's going to make us fight her too? I bet I can take her!" Hollypaw mewled quietly to the apprentices and her sisters, while she scampered around them.

Oak padded closer to his siblings as well. His crooked jaw was even more prominent now that he was around so many cats, and none of them who had the same malady as him. He tried to ignore the stares of the other cat, but nothing could make his fur lie flat against his back. He rolled his eyes at his sister, running around like a baby. Of course she couldn't take Sunstar!

Mistpaw nodded to her leader, then shifted her attention to Star. "Fernpaw and Flickerpaw are right. Sunstar is fair, but she is strong and she needs to show it. She has to maintain a respect for her, so that the other cats who don't belong to our clan know to respect our clan and boundaries. Can you and your siblings follow me into the medicine cat den? It's the den on the far side of camp. You can probably scent the smell of herbs drifting to you from the den." She mewed soothingly to Star. Her voice had a calming affect on cats (not like a power at all, its just a steady voice).


(Also: Totally off topic, but just wondering if there was anyone I could PM who could help me decide what iTouch case to get? I am trying to decide and I am stuck between three lol, so I need one person to help me decidee if anyone has a spare second.)
