Dangers lurk in every corner of this unforgiving world, but not all are easily seen....
Centuries ago, a pack of wolves was formed. But not just any pack, and not just any wolves. These wolves were all black, with no highlights, just black. They thought of themselves as silhouette hunters, disguising themselves as shadows and creeping through the night, mercilessly attacking anything that moved. The pack lived on for decades, passing down their genes, new leaders every few years, all of them black.
But one day the Alpha's mate gave birth. The Alpha was growing old, he needed an heir, he decided he would pick one of the litter to be the new leader. But to the entire pack's surprise, the Alphaess gave birth to just one pup. Luckily, it was male, but the young pup had one flaw, a white paw. No other wolf of the pack had ever bore any colour on their pelt, but black. The Alpha was distraught, "He is useless!" he howled, "Be rid of the runt!". But his mate refused, she fled the pack with her only offspring and raised him. The pup, now known as Exile, grew into a fine young wolf, well formed and strong. But his white paw provided a negative side. On his first hunting trip, he caught sight of a human, a hunter. Stalking after the human, Exile crept swiftly and silently, then leaping from shadow to shadow, closing in on his prey. But as he leapt over the hunter's head, the human caught a glimpse of a white flash and fired his weapon desperately. Exile escaped by inches, but he knew that his one flaw exposed him to great risk.
Exile is now a mature adult male wolf. He knew he could never return to his old pack, but surving on his own was difficult with his white paw. So now he is starting his own pack, they go by Wolves of the Shadows, or Shadow Wolves for short. The pack's territory is in a forest, a thick mass of trees. There are seperate dens around the territory, some of them huge hollow tree trunks. There is a plain outside the forest, more animals are out there than in the forest, but hunting there is a risk.... 2. No powerplaying, that means no 'lunges, no miss' and no 'kills instantly'. You cannot kill off another person's character unless they agree to go along with it.
3. Please, no fighting out of character. I don't want this RP to turn into a debating area.
4. Keep it clean, which means nothing over PG 13. Please ask for a time-skip for the 'sensitive' matters. And no cussing/swearing.
5. Post your form, you must be accepted before you start roleplaying.
6. All wolves must be some shade of black. But you may have other shades and markings.
