Petal, already awake, was sorting the herbs, placing the unusable ones in a pile.

Kiara awoke and began grooming her show cat-like hair, and stretched.

Killian was already up, sitting on her haunches. She glanced about the Garden Room, the floral wallpaper making her dizzy. She closed her brilliant blue eyes, taking a deep breath.

Pip was lounging about in the Soft Room, his leafy green eyes bright. His tail tip flicked up and down casually as he glanced about the nearly empty room.
