She smiled as Nightkit sighed. They would be apprentices in a moon, but until then, they would be having fun, playing around in the Nursary.

The dark, black tom smirked and nodded, feeling his mother's eyes on them. He leapt to his paws.
"I am the mighty Shadowstar! Leader of FernClan! Hello Nigh-" he paused and smiled at her.
"Nightkit. What shall your name be as a medicine cat?" he asked quietly.

"Nightleaf?"nightkit said.

He narrowed his eyes and smiled, getting back into role.
"Nightleaf! There is an outbreak of greencough! We must save the clan before it kills them all," he meowed and panicked. Shadowkit ran around in circles. He heard his mother whisper something.
"Kits will be kits."

"Calm down eat this and you will be cured,"Nightkit said and rolled him a ball of moss.

The kit looked as Nightkit rolled him the moss and he stood proud. Shadowkit grunted.
"I, Shadowstar, do not have Greencough! How could you make that assumption?" he replied, laughing a little.

Nightkit grinned,"Easy you sit around all day doing nothing.Give the ball to the sick cats then."

Shadowkit took the ball of moss by his small mouth and leapt around the Nursary, pretending to help out sick cats. Once he had finished, he crept back up to Nightkit.
"All done Nightleaf!" he mewed, putting the moss ball on the ground infront of her.
