His eyes flickered from Athena to Pandora.He too could see the Fear in her eyes.He knew she was trying to hide it,but knowing any moment that the pack could be destoryed,let alone the whole forest,was worring enough."Oh,just some stuff," He replied quickly,as to save Pandora saying something and Athena hearing the fear even more in her voice.He was easy at hiding his feeling.He had been doing it all his life.Looking at Athena,he could see something in her eyes.The way she looked at him..He lay down and rested his head on his paws,trying to think of a way to keep the pack save.

She looked back at Athena. Her eyes now emotionless, covering anything that would have been seen before. She looked between Athena and Soul, something that she could see.. But would not mention, knowing Soul he could see it too. "Nothing is going on." She replied, a slight edge to her voice, which had not been there before. She turned and walked to her den, wishing to be alone unless Soul wished to continue the conversation. The ground was brittle under her paws from the frost of the winter months, the wind like fingers running through her fur. She closed her eyes and sighed as she reached her den. She walked inside the chill from the outside air disappearing as the den mouth was opposite the oncoming winds. She walked in a slow circle before laying down, the floor cold against her warm stomach.

The fae nodded. "If you inisit" She knew something was off, but she could not put a paw on it. It was hazy, blurred. Athena laid down, placing her head on her paws. "Any activites going on today?" She asked Soul, looking at the trees that surrounded them. She felt a slight bit of hunger, but ignored it. How often did she get to stay up close with the Beta, Soul like this? No often. The small bubble of courage grew a bit each time she saw him. She was willing to help the pack, and the leaders, and any way.

He sprang from his paws,a sudden idea spiring into his head.He watched Pandora walk away,and waited a few minuets,thinking she might want to be alone.He shook his head,this couldnt wait.Shaking his fur he padded after her."Pandora," He called,stopping and waiting for her reply.He knew his idea may be a little mad,and would mean traveling quite far,it was the only hope they had of survivle.He shook his head.His idea would mean telling the pack..Unless.He paused.Unless they could think of a reason.He looked back at Athena and sighed.He didnt like just walking away,it made him seem..well,he didnt know.But he knew he had to talk to pandora.

The fae sighed softly. She stood up, and walked away, to her den. What ever they had to say, she did want to hear, but she respected their privacy. She walked off to her den, pacing in a circle before sitting down. The ground was hard, frozen beneath her paws. She finally gave up. The courosity was too much for her to handle. She walked almostly silently into the bushes and trees, hiding behind the evergreens. The fae blended perfectly in, her fur matching the snow. Athena waited, watching Pandora. She picked a blind spot only a few feet away from the alpha den. She waited for Soul to enter...

She lifted her head from her paws the floor biting into her pads. Her eyes pricked as she watched through the mouth of her den, waiting for Soul to come into her view. She stood and shook her fur, the small white dots adorning her side appearing grey in the darkness of the cave. She walked to the cave, looking out from the mouth the wind whistling past her. She watched Soul approach. Her voice soft. "Yes?"
She growled softly, the smell of another. Filling her glands. She watched Soul and walked into the forest. "Follow me."

He woke the darkness of his cave making him blend with the shadows. He slowly opened his right eye, the left eye followed as he looked at the dark morning of a cold winter day. He wrapped his tail around his body as he rested his head on his paws, watching the pack from the comfort of his cave.

Athena sighed as they left, wondering what could possibily so secret. Her courosity got to her this time, unlike many onther times. The fae walked out of the bushes, shaking of the leaves and pine needles she gotten on her. Athena walked slowly to the river, gazing at her reflection in the frozen water. A small wolf, with fur that is white like silk. Seems to be weak. Athena sighed softly. She wasnt weak, but alone, mateless and alone.
