Silverdapple smiled, seeing Bluebird emerge from the warriors den soon after her. "Morning, Bluebird." She smiled flicking her ear since flicking her bobtail was out of the question. She tilted her head slightly at Ashstat, confusion reflected in her gaze. "Talk to us...?" She clarified, slightly worried now. Usually, having a leader want to talk to a certain group of cats specificly wasn't good news, and Silverdapple knew this full-well. Then again, what had she done lately? Oh... Heh. Right... She corrected herself, remembering her late-night swim, just for fun. And the run she took at midnight a couple sunrises ago, just to stretch her legs and clear her head. She probably should have been resting, or at least had someone with her, but those thoughts were fairly sophisticated, and that was something that Silverdapple was not. "Your going to be a mentor." Ashstar said to Bluebird, freeing Silverdapple from her thoughts. Her silvery-blue flecked eyes lit up in delight. "Congratulations Bluebird!" She purred, giving the she-cat a smile. She was a good pick; while she was a fairly skilled warrior, she could also teach her apprentice compassion, something all apprentices needed to have.

Ashstar's grin widened and spread across his face, eyes lighting up as he nodded.
"Yes. You're a wonderful warrior with a bright future ahead of you. You deserve an apprentice and I know you will do well." He praised her, dipping his head a little to reinforce his words. "But don't me afraid to ask for help from senior warriors or from me." The tom adviced, knowing that she would be nervous. Every cat was nervous when they got their first apprentice; he knew he had been.
Turning to Silverdapple, he began to talk. "You are too, Silverdapple. You can train your apprentices together, if you want. I'm sure Oakfur will join you."

Bluebird nodded, barely able to suppress her excitement. She had always wanted to be a mentor. She just doubted her abilities sometimes. Silverdapple was bound to be a good mentor as well. There was only one question left unanswered. Who will I be mentoring? She wondered. Bluebird knew that didn't really matter- it was just an honor to have any apprentice at all.
"Thank you, Ashstar, it is an honor. And I will gladly train my apprentice, whoever they may be, alongside Silverdapple. Which leads me to the question....who will be my apprentice?"

[Africa.]

Silverdapples mouth formed a small, silent O of surprise. She, too, had only just become a warrior not long ago, maybe a moon or so before Bluebird. But instead of feeling nerves like she'd thought, a warm feeling spread through her, unexpected, but not unliked. She smiled a bit, eyes glittering in delight. "Thank you, Ashstar." She purred, dipping her head slightly. In her mind, she silently ran through the list of all three apprentices, attempting to guess which she'd be matched with.

Ashstar smiled at Silverdapple too before glacing at the entrance of the warrior's den, sighing quietly. With Oakfur taking so long, another warrior would have to go on the patrol.
Standing for what felt like the umpteenth time that day, he flicked his ears in the direction of the warriors' den. "While yu get used to the fact that you're going to be mentors, I'm going to get a warrior to go on the dawn patrol." With that, he padded over and disappeared inside, his amber eyes locking with the lighter amber eyes of Sunflame. Quickly, he explained and backed out, the ginger tom following.

    Looks: Tigerdust is a handsome, muscular tom with fur slightly longer than most, in the middle of short and long haired. He has a long tail, with slightly longer ears, and a black nose. He is a classic tiger tabby, with a white underbelly and some white speckles over his lips and muzzle. His eyes are a dusty grey color, like a stormy sky.

Silverdapple glanced over at the den as well, silently wondering where Oakfur was. Had he snuck out last night, like Silverdapple often did? She shrugged slightly, deciding he'd most likely just had a long day the day before. Instead, she saw Sunflame follow Ashstar out of the den, looking as though he'd just woken up. Apparently, he wasn't schedualed for a patrol previously.

Bluebird let out a mrrow of laughter. "It'll take me a while, seeing as I've never had a responsibilty as great as this. However, I will fulfill my duties in this clan, whatever it takes." Bluebird said. What she spoke was the truth, and it was how she wanted herself to feel. She did feel that way, but another part of her was saying, Bluebird, you can't do this. You've only just become a warrior yourself. You'll be a hirrible mentor. You're apprentice will go to StarClan in their first battle. Bluebird shook the thoughts off. It was her duty, wasn't it? She had to do this, no matter what.

Ashstar jerked his head for Sunflame to go to the entrance and join Blackthunder there. Thankfully, the sleepy tom did as he was told and walked over to his denmate, his paws dragging on the ground slightly, tail low. Ashstar, meanwhile, joined the two she-cats once more. "Getting used to the idea of being mentors?"

Ashstar nodded to her, feeling proud. He had watched Bluebird train as an apprentice under the name Bluepaw, and had given her her warrior name not many moons ago. She was a strong cat, no matter what she thought of herself and he knew that she would excell in training an apprentice.
