The cougar then leaped over kotori and grabbed Lila by her neck. He then threw her, causing her to hit a tree. He hissed then ran away, knowing that kotori would probably win the fight. Lila lay limp on the ground next to the tree, her fur covered in fresh blood

kotori leaped in the direction the cougar went and let out a roaring bark/growl. ((my dog does that sometimes and its kinda scary )) he then walked over to lila. he nosed her to see if she would stir.

Lila just whimpered a little. She hurt all over and didn't want to try and move, it would only hurt more

kotori felt a little better knowing she was alive. "dont worry lila, i'll get you home. does it hurt when i do this?" he hently picked her up by her scruff.

Lila shook her head. "No." She replied weakly, her eyes were closed and she was completely limp as he lifted her up by the scruff.

carefully kotori carried her back to the cave, not even glancing at kita as he entered. he went straight to mel and layed her down in front of her.

Mel whined. "What the hell happened to her?!" She cried, then stared cleaning her wounds.

"a cougar attcked her." he said. "i chased it off though. but it threw her against a tree. make sure she didnt break anything." he advised as she cleaned lilas wounds

Lila weakly pressed her face into mels fur. She never wanted to go outside ever again.

Mel nuzzled Lila, then carefully checked for broken bones with her paw. "Thanks for saving her.." She said quietly, giving Kotori a quick lick on the nose.
