Rose looked when she heard a growl. A Tom that looked around two moons older than her stood there. Rose shivered down, "I-I don't know how to fight! Don't kill me!" She squeaked.

Flickerpaw pointed his nose at his injured legs. He hated being mute. I can't. He mouthed.

Minnowpaw woke as she felt Flickerpaw's warmth leave her side. She moaned. Where is he? She asked herself.

Moonpaw saw Minnowpaw. "Hi Minnowpaw...." He said with his head down.

"Hu?" She turned her head to Moonpaw. "Oh.. hi. Do you know where Flickerpaw is?" She asked in less pain.

"He's in the medicine cat den..." Moonpaw meowed.

(She had been in the medicine cat den with him.)

"He was just beside me..." She trailed off.
