Long Path was now running towards Racing Snowshoe's yowl. SHe ignored the brambles that tugged on her long, matted fur.

[blueshadowmoon]

Frozen Quest: Her pelt prickled once she scented blood, "Racing Snowshoe!" She saw the small she-cat's tattered and bloody body under a birch tree with blood streaked on it.

[wet noses]

Long Path's hazel eyes blazed with fury. "Who did this?" she growled, grief fused in her mew. She ran to Racing Snowshoe's side.

[blueshadowmoon]

Racing Snowshoe: "Clan." She choked out before fainting.
Frozen Quest: She growled and dug her claws into the ground, her fur bristled.

[wet noses]

Long Path's ear fell to her head. "Those cruel beasts!" she meowed, shutting her eyes tight.

[blueshadowmoon]

Frozen Quest: "We have to strike. We can't sit in wait any longer. They attacked one of our to-bes. It'll take far too long for her to become a hunter and fighter now."

[wet noses]

Long Path nodded. "I won't fight a whole clan because a few of them were savage enough to harm one of our to-bes, but I will go confront them immediately." SHe blinked, staring over the border. "We need to get Racing Snowshoe back to camp though." She gently picked up the to-be by the scruff.

Frozen Quest: "It was probably that tom. I say we track him down and teach him a lesson."

[wet noses]

Long Path blinked. "We hurt the tom, his Clan cat buddies will get upset and hurt us," she meowed gravely. She looked at Racing Snowshoe's paws and pulled a tuft of fur from one of her claws and sniffed it. "Do you recognize the smell?"

Frozen Quest: She sniffed then shook her head, "Too much blood."
