Moonblaze looked hesitantly at the rushing water below. With a huge force of will-power, he took a few steps back and lanched himself over the gorge. His hind paws slipped, sending pebbles scattering to the stream. He hissed and righted himself before turning and following the others.
Rosepaw absent-mindedly clawed the grass at her feet. She wanted to be anywhere but in camp, doing nothing. She sighed inwardly and looked around.
Mapletail yawned and arched his back as he stretched. Shaking his pelt, he clambered out of the elder's den and settled in the sun.
