Tigerclaw shook his head disapprovingly, but followed anyway. He stopped briefly, turning back to his apprentice. "On second though, I'll take Leappaw back to camp." He looked at Leappaw, hoping she agreed.

"Come on! I want to help fight the dogs too! And Fluffypaw'll be bragging about it!" Leappaw pleaded.

Tigerclaw shook his head. "You don't even have basic battle training. We won't ever see the dogs either way, Leappaw, because we couldn't run out several full-grown dogs with a whole Clan of cats, even if we tried." He shook his head a second time, hoping Leappaw would listen to reason.
