Seapaw shook her head. "He's the one who rescued me this time, Slipclaw. I'll go ask nicely first." She shook her head and turned, hurrying outside to find Nightpelt. "Nightpelt? Thanks for all you've done, but you need to go." She sighed and turned, looking for Slipclaw.

Slipclaw hurried after Seapaw. "Ok, so what did you want to tell me?"

"Hey Lionroar!" Cometpaw mewed happily. Her eyes fluttered with content as she greeted her new friend, and fiery flames flickered in her bright eyes. Ever since he had became friends with her, she felt that overcoming her grief and sorrow was easier. She felt as though he brought the best out of her, and made her qualities shine as if on spotlight. Cometpaw didn't speak much, but she felt as though the silence was slowly ebbing away, like a shadow disappearing as the night fell.

Was that normal? She hoped so.

"That's a lot of water!" Robinpaw mewed observantly. She placed a paw in the water and quickly drew it back with a giggle.

Cinderfrost's eyes grew wide with pain, "Firestripe! They're... coming." Her bright blue eyes shone with obvious shock and agony as she whispered, "Get a medicine cat. Get Lotuspaw. She might now what to do." Nowadays, she had noticed that Lotuspaw seemed more distant, more different. And normally, that was because of love. The young she-cat mumbled something inaudible, and then repeated, "Get Lotuspaw." Her silver fur was fluffed out as her muscled tensed, her claws clinging to the churned ground beneath her.
Overhead, the sun shone normally, as though nothing was happening.

Or at least, as though nothing should be happening.

Seapaw shuddered. "I fazed out again. And this time, I saw somebody. Like when I'm awake, sort of, but they weren't... Strange..." She sighed and looked away, embarrassed. Her mother'd been crazy, but this was the first time she'd admitted that she was too.

"Umm....let's get back to Cinderstar. If you don't mind, that is."

"Yesh. (yes)" Brownsugar said with his mouth full. "I'd Like shoo shyet bash shtoo shya camp. (I'd like to get back to the camp.) Shwy do you ashk? (Why do you ask?)"
