Birdpaw followed Duststripe, glad she had barely shed any blood. She did good for a cat with no battle training yet!


Hawktalon, Iceclaw and Sandstreak followed. They padded quickly away. "We should only take territory we need," remarked Iceclaw. "We need to remember what Shinestar said." Hawktalon answered.

Tigerlight nodded. "We can start here, at the edge of the lake where Moonstar said," he meowed.

Sandstreak nodded, he bagan to scent mark the area.

Iceclaw and Hawktalon began to scent mark also.

Sparkpaw watched Tigerlight's patrol and his mentor walk off to mark the border. "Shinestar," he meowed, "When will we explore the new territory?" He wondered to himself if he could take Jaykit with him, then realized that was probably not a good idea. She's just a kit!

Jaykit strained her ears. "I can't hear the battle!" she complained. "Maybe it's over."

Iceclaw sniffed the area around, she scented the more heavy-hunting areas, and left the other parts for LakeClan, who was known to hunt fish in the lake.

"We should wait a few hours, when we have the scent marks down." Shinestar answered.

Poppypaws side rose and fell. Her eyes were huge with pain, but it comforted her when Pantherpaw licked her wounds.
"What's....name. What's your name?" She managed feebly, still looking at his eyes. Her silver tail twitched every so often, and her paws were covered in blood.

Tigerlight looked around. "Once we have the scent markers down, we should report straight back to Shinestar," he mewed.

Sparkpaw nodded, eager to explore the new territory. I was getting so bored of camp.

Whisperingpaw strained her ears. "I can't here it either. That was pretty quick!" She wanted to investigate but then she thought it was a bad idea. There might be enemy cats still there.

"Pantherpaw" he replied. He strained his ears, but didn't hear the battle. "The battle's over.." he said, getting to his paws.


Midnightmoon nodded. "I cna hear Shinestar, giving orders..." he strained to hear more "The battle's over! We won!"

Runningsong padded to Whisperingpaw's side. "Good. Less work for us!" She purred loudly, relieved.
