Shadey lay next to his mother-whom had just returned. He nosed her"Mommy?Mommy were's sissy?"
Sunlight gave Shadey a sad look"I'm not sure if sissy will come back Shade my son...."
Shade whimpered and went back to sleeping.

Shade,Fox's brother,wandered out of his den. He sighed. He was sad that his sister may not return,and he stumbled as he managed to walk. He looked for someone who might know were Fox had been taken.
