Zanda looked at Melody, Marc, Harmony and Nikita as they looked for Mali. She twitched his ears as h'e listened.

Mali was curled beside Ash, his small ears pinned softly.

"Mali!" I call louder. I then howl his name to the moon. "Where are you my precious pup!" I howl sadly

Zanda trotted over to Melody, nuzzling her neck softly. "He's probably sleeping somewhere, love." He said, watching.

I nuzzle him as tears come to my eyes. "He's not supposed to be out of camp" I whine softly

"He's a curious pup. He'll know when he's in trouble and come home." Zanda said softly, licking her cheek softly. "He's fine."

I nod softly.

"I'll keep watch for him. You go on to sleep." Zanda said, nuzzling Melody's cheek.

I nod and round up my non-missing pups. "Off to bed" I say nosing them up to my den on alpha rock.

Zanda looked after Melody and the pups, smiling assuringly. H'e laid down on the outsid of camp to watch for any signs of Mali.

(I was thinking that Mali just disappears and returns home years later. >:3)
