"yes."she begins "ok we could travel as a pack and keep together to prevent anyone else from getting hurt."

toni smiles then remembers that rusty is still in the woods and runs to find him

I watch her run off.

Valentine started walking and said "i need to check something"and she limped away to a pond with a waterfall that she had visited long ago.

I don't follow her, remembering what she said last time.

Valentine looked into the water again and saw something horrible.there at the top of the rock stood a shadow wolf.below him was many other wolfs in chains and covered in blood.the shadow wolf laughed evily at the other wolfs.in the crowds of slave wolfs was one that was more chained up than the others.that wolf raised his bloody head and there was the face of ender.valentine stumbled back."he's alive"she said "he's alive!" she ran into the forest looking for kuro.
