"Finish it with tackle!" A blur of smoky grey and Anubis had hurled himself into the opposing Surskit, knocking the flimsy blue any yellow Pokemon to the side as she struggled to regain footing. With a small squeak, the bug and water Pokemon flitted away, running from the Poochyena that skidded to a halt and howled happily in victory. Despite his energetic appearance, Tanya knew that the dog Pokemon was tired now: his tail dragged along the ground and his eyes were droopy. "I think that's enough for today," Tanya beamed at her Pokemon, patting his ruffled grey head slightly as he barked cheerfully in response. By then, it was getting dark and dim red light filtered prettily through the trees, bathing everything in a bath of dimmed red. After getting her sense of direction, the dark brown haired girl started to walk back to where the other three were, wondering if Shelby had succeeded in catching the Azurill.

Moon launched herself out of the plant, almost roaring a battle cry. The Azurill flinched in shock, and tried to escape, but wasn't fast enough. Moon had tackled into it, a crude snarl on her muzzle. Shelby was shocked by the ferocity of it; none of her Pokemon had ever done this before! Shaking her head, Shelby issued commands: "Moon, show 'em what you got!" She didn't really know what Moon could do, but was surprised at some of her moves. Moon smacked the Azurill with a Slash,, using a Bite as well. She saw the Azurill squeal in pain, and knew Moon was going to keep going unless told to stop. It wasn't exactly fair when your opponent was on top of you.

Shelby opened her mouth to say something to her Pokemon, then left it open as the Azurill fought back, using a Water Gun that knocked Moon off of her. The Poochyena leapt to her paws, barreling into the Azurill with a Tackle. The Azurill's tail smacked Moon, and the Water Pokemon used another Water Gun. Moon was soaked, but didn't give in. She used Bite once more, making the Azurill flinch for a split second. Now's my chance! Shelby thought, calling Moon back. Shelby could see that Moon hesitated, and didn't want to stop battling, but came back anyways. Shelby quickly rummaged through her bag, searching for a good Pokeball she had brought. A Dive Ball appeared out of her bag, and she tossed it, watching the Pokeball struggle slightly, then clicked slightly as the Azurill gave in. Shelby immeadiately turned to Moon, not bothering to pick up the Pokeball just yet. "Well, I can see why Professor Birch said you were really stubborn and ferocious. That was some of the roughest abttling I've ever seen!" Moon didn't flinch, but she did pin her ears. Shelby knealt down until she was eye level with her Poochyena. The pup didn't even blink under her stern gaze. "You can't do that type of battling, alright? This is the type of things that other Trainers don't like." This made Moon's eyes widen, and her head drooped slightly. "Luckily," Shelby said gently, tapping her nose, "I'm not like other Trainers. I don't want to see it again, alright?" Moon's ears pricked up again, and she, to Shelby's surprise, licked her on the hand in response. Shelby then stood up, took the Pokeball in which her Azurill was caught in, and placed it in her bag. "I'll name you later." She murmured.

Tally

"I think he's fine," Tally grinned at Roxas, watching as Mudkip slid into the water too. Shroomish stayed put, however, and remained curled up in Tally's arms. She sat down underneath a nearby tree and watched Moon battle an Azurill, rather fiercely. She bit her lip in anticipation, willing herself to stay quiet. At last, Shelby tossed a Dive Ball, and within a few seconds the Azurill was caught. Beaming, Tally clapped. "That was amazing, Shelby!" she grinned, "Well done! Now you have a Pokemon that'll go well against the gym!"

Roxas nodded at Tally's comment and glanced up to the sky as he watched the cloud's move slowly by. He wasn't' worried about beating the first Gym leader. Oh no, the real problem was when they got to the second gym leader in Dewford Town and battle Brawly. He use Fighting type Pokemon and ice didn't have a great match up with thoughs kind. He need a flying type......"Dang... He thought to himself as he keep gazing up to the clouds. "Where is Aya when I need her....I could have ask to borrow her Swellow..or ask were I could get a Flying type."

SHelby smiled at Tally. "Thanks." She pulled out the Diveball and rolled it a little in her hand. She was tempted to let it out, but was worried it might be terrified of Moon. Not Shelby, Moon. The Poochyena had given her a real beating. "Would it be a good idea to let this Azurill out?" She asked, mainly to herself, but also to the others too. Yes, I have to find out what gender you are. I suppose my Pokedex can just help with that. And I need to name it. But what if it's so scared of Moon it runs away?

Tally

She watched in amusement as Mudkip swam around with Spheal. Blinking, Tally looked up at Shelby. "Well, you'll have to let it out eventually," she shrugged, "You could help it get used to being around Moon." Suddenly, Shroomish was out of Tally's lap and was sort of waddling towards Moon, as if investigating. The green Pokemon beamed at Moon in greeting, before hopping up and down merrily. Tally chuckled, "I think Shroomish thinks Moon's alright."

Shelby nodded, watching Moon for any harsh reaction. The Poochyena growled, snapping at the Shroomish. "I don't think Moon's into others right now." Shelby sighed, as her Pokemon's fur lifted, bristling. "She'll grow warmer. Hopefully."

Shroomish pouted, backing away and hopping into Tally's arms again, giving an annoyed growl. "It's okay. I'm sure she'll warm up." Tally gave the Poochyena a small smile, before rummaging in her bag and taking out a handful of berries. She gave one to Shroomish, and tossed one into the water for Mudkip, who swiftly swam over and plucked it up. She popped one in her own mouth, before holding the out to the others. "Anybody hungry?"
