Tally blinked, before smiling and following Roxas. "Hi, I'm Tally." she grinned at them, giving a small wave, Mudkip sliding off her shoulder to the ground to investigate the new Pokemon. She watched as the little blue Pokemon sniffed the Poochyena in mild interest. "Nice to meet you, Shelby." she added with a smile, allowing her Mudkip to scrambled back into her arms again.

Shelby smiled at the new girl, Tally. "NIce to meet you too." She tapped Moon on the nose again, since she snapped at the Mudkip when he sniffed her. "I told you no!" She grumbled. Moon growled, then flinched when she got tapped on the nose again. "No!" Moon curled her lips back to snarl, then thought better of it, just frowning at her. Shelby patted Moon's head for listening, then straightened up, letting Moon do what she wanted. "So, are you guys headed to the next town? I was just preparing to head out." She glanced down at Moon, who was pawing at the ground for something. Probably a bug. "I got stopped when this furball-" She poked Moon gently with the tip of her shoe, making Moon snap at her; Shelby didn't bother to tap her nose once more. "-decided to get in some fights. I had to heal her up."

Tanya

"Opposite of this guy here. Um, nice to meet you Shelby," Tanya smiled slightly at the ball of fluff in her arms, who was now struggling to get down. As Roxas and Tally joined them, she let Anubis down, where he instantly scrabbled towards Moon again and attempted to nuzzle the other Poochyena as a form of greeting. Moon seemed the serious type, but Anubis was either oblivious to this or didn't care. Rolling her eyes, the brown-haired girl looked up at Shelby's question and nodded. "We're headed to Rustboro City, um, I think we're all taking the gym challenge so Roxanne is the first hurdle..." she answered hesitantly, remembering that Roxas mentioned that he and Tally were more interested in the water Pokemon of the region.

"Rustboro? Oh yea! I remember that town!" Shelby smiled. "It's not such a bad place at all. Quite a city." She paused, looking down at Moon. MOon was leaning away from Anubis, curling her lips in a snarl. Eventually, she snapped at Anubis, barely missing by a centimeter, in an attempt to get him away from her. Shelby shook her head at her Pokemon, then said, "I'm sur eyou know this, but you won't get anywhere in that gym unless you've got a Water type or two. Or some extremely strong Pokemon with amazing stats. Otherwise, it's an unfair fight. Rock types are as hard as...well, rock."

"And neither will you." Roxas told Shelby as he stood back up. Dusting the dirt from his jean he continued. "Tally and I got it covered. We just need to find some more Pokemon before battling her." Explained Roxas vaguely. He wasn't going to tell a stranger that one of his friends need to get more Pokemon just because the Gym leader use rock type. Sea green eyes looked up into the sky. "Come on.." He told Tanya. "We need to get moving if we want to make it though the forest and Rustbro City before dark."

Tanya

Tanya smiled with a shrug, not knowing what Rustboro looked like. "I don't really know much about Hoenn; it's all really new to me," she responded to Shelby, nudging Anubis away from Moon who looked and acted thoroughly aggressive towards the cheerfully panting Poochyena. Although still not put off, the ashy grey dark type bounded away to investigate a lamp-post, sniffing away at the tall pole. "Mmm..." she murmured vaguely as Roxas explained her situation, twirling a lock of her dark brown hair around her finger. "That's right. And yeah, I'll see if I can track down a Nincada. We'll probably have to camp in the woods at this rate." With that, she turned her gaze to Anubis and called him over, which he obeyed by sprinting back and jumping up Tanya's dark teal skirt. Taking it as a plea to be carried, Tanya rolled her eyes and heaved the dog Pokemon into her arms, murmuring into his fluffy grey ear, "But only for a little while. I need to train you and find a Pokemon for the gym as soon as we get to a place with wild Pokemon."

[Beebs]

Moon shook her head at the Poochyena, a snarl still on her muzzle. Shelby could tell she wasn't going to get along with him. "I was born here; my parents used to take me on trips around the different towns. This my first time being back in a few years." She paused, then said, "Hoenn isn't as bad as you think. It's actually quite relaxing in most towns. Others are just..." She stopped, trying to think of the word. Her thoughts averted to Roxas' words, when he said they should go into the forest. "You guy wouldn't mind if I came with you, would you? I'm going the same direction anyways; and if you need someone to battle with, Moon's always up for it." Her Poochyena responded with a snap of her teeth, the light of battle gleaming in her red eyes. "I wasn't saying we should fight now." Shelby muttered. Moon's tail slightly drooped, but then shot up, as if she had thought of something. Her gaze kept darting to Anubis. Shelby was sure she wanted to fight Anubis first.

Roxas raised a white eye brow at Selby before turning to the road. "Do as you wish...it's not like I own the road or anything." Was the reply before walking down the path again. "And if your mutt needs calming down...Spheal and I can battle her." Roxas was familiar with some Pokemon that wouldn't settled down till they had their first battle. They were usually laid back after that. They soon came out of the city lines and back into the forest trees and small water way. Pokemon bustled here and there in the tall grass. Talliows watched the group of young teenagers from the safety of the tree tops. Leaves and twigs crunched under Roxas's brown boots as they stepped on the objects.

Shelby shrugged and followed him, Moon at her heels. The brunette put her hands behind her head, listening to the soft sounds of different Pokemon. Home, sweet home. She thought, sighing in content. Even Moon seemed a little relaxed. She listened to Roxas before saying, "It depends on who Moon wants to battle first. I really don't care, as long as she gets some training in."

Tanya

As soon as, after walking for a short while, they got to the outskirts of town, Tanya lowered down Anubis who blinked a few times, glancing around the grassy, wooded path. After a moments pause, the fluffy grey Poochyena launched himself forwards, bounding beside Tanya who laughed slightly at the Pokemon, rolling her eyes as he started yapping at some Taillow in a tree (all of which gave him reproachful looks). "I think," she murmured as she strolled through the tall grass. "That Moon wants to fight Anubis first." Tanya had noticed the frequent glances that the other Poochyena had shot at Anubis; the kind of aggressive longing that occupied the dog Pokemon's bright red eyes. It would probably be best for them to fight as Anubis would probably leave Moon alone then. But first, training in the wild.
