Aari sat perched lazily on a fence post, dark ears flicking in the slight breeze. as he studied the buzzing streets of Hawethorne, his mind couldn't help but drawing back to Shion and his kits. How were they doing? When he finally met them, how would they react since his sudden disappearance? Happy? Angry? Annoyed? Or would they not even remember them? Aari remembered that when he left, they were only little. He sighed and flexed his claws.
Veronica stretched her jaws until it formed a perfect 'O', then lay down with her paws tucked under her. She stared up at the drifting clouds in her backyard, where inside she could hear Scott typing on his computer. Scott was her loving owner, and his wife, whose name she had yet to learn, was just the same when it came to loving her. Veronica was quite spoiled by them, though she mostly stayed away from them. She wasn't one to like all the attention for herself, and mostly resented the fact of carasses or the cooing from them.
Zak quietly watches a bird peck at the ground, all of what little attention he had turned toward it boredly. What's it doing? he asked himself as his ears perked curiously at the little bird. A few moments later, the bird pulled up a fine worm and flew off immediantly, as if in that moment realizing it was being watched. Zak ssat up from his crouched position and his muscles screamed in protest from being still for so long.
