Sandtail zipped around, thinking about Redfeather. Now WHY was he so familiar...?

(No, Darkfire23. The birds do know Christmas but they call it Hollytrees. But Hollytreesheart is unacceptable... Spiritheart is unacceptable... Daybreakfeather is much too twoparted...)

Wintertail saw Sandtail flying faster. "What are you thinking about? Annoying boys?"

"Not annoying, but you're surprisingly close..." Sandtail chirped, zooming around in figure eights.

"Boys! You have a crush on..." Wintertail chirped excitedly, thinking of a bird possible to be Sandtail's crush. "Littlefeather!"

"No, not crushes...and Littlefeather's technically my brother," Sandtail pointed out. "I'm thinking of a bird I saw in a dream...he said one word, and i think it was his name: Redfeather," the hummer chirped.

"It's night now, do you want to go to sleep and try and see if we are both in the same dream and if Redfeather's there?" Chirped Wintertail.

"Sure," Sandtail said quietly. She flew into the nest and tucked her beak to her chest. She was eager to go to sleep.

She was again soaring over the forest, with the endless stars glowing above her. Redfeather came down from the sky again, this time whispering her name. "Sand...tail..." His form grew misty for a moment before returning to a sloid state. "Ver...dant...will...see...you...sis...ter..." Redfeather smiled weakly as he grew misty again.

Wintertail flew up towards Sandtail. "Yay! It's one of those cool CloudFlock dreams!" She chirped. "Redfeather? Is that you?" She tweeted and looked at the small bird.
