whitetalon landed on a branch and shook her feathers she was really mad now.

Sandtail's beak came free with a jolt, followed by a little spurt of squirrel blood. Sandtail weakly flew off of the squirrel to rest from the strain of having her beak stuck. "Thanks," she murmured.

Wintertail didn't hear, but she finally could pull the squirrel to the edge of the branch and shove it off.

Sandtail used her wings to push herself back into a standing position. "I kinda owe you one, huh?" she chirped.

"Not really." Chirped Wintertail, thinking about how she had misunderstood Sandtail's wing flapping.
