"Ah, that explains everything!" Sandtail was referring to Whitetalon, and as she said it, she dramatically threw her wings up over her head.

Pinetail smiled up at Leapheart.

Oakwing flew up to the nest with a bundle of worms. He whistled to all the chicks.


Littlefeather watched out the nest, groaning. He twitched in pain, his eyes glazed over.
"Littlefeather? Are you okay?" Oakwing asked.
"n-No..." Groaned the tiny bird. Oakwing immedatly dropped the worms and flew to get Coronaheart.

Coronaheart skipped around the den. She was feeding Fallentail, whose large beak was open begging for food.

Wintertail flew over and tried to grab a fat worm. "Wormy!" She tweeted.

Oakwing busted into the den. "CORONAHEART! LITTLEFEATHER IS SICK!"

Coronaheart was shocked by the loudness of his screech. "Oh my gosh! What is it? Bring him to me!"

Sandtail saw another butterfly go by. She gave chase, using her hummer wingwork to get close enough to grab it in her beak. She zoomed back to her branch, kinda proud of how she could grab insects in flight.

Wintertail grabbed a bunch of worms and gulped them down. Not enough to line a growing bird's belly but it was good.

Sandtail looked around for any takers of her butterfly. She gulped it down, gagging a little. "Spiders and nectar taste way better!" she coughed.
