Snowheart fell asleep in the den, waiting for Stormflight to return.

It was a dark night. Snowtail sat with Stormtail on a branch, and Flowertail landed. Snowtail was about to confess her crush for Stormtail. "Guess what?" Flowertail tweeted just as Snowtail opened her beak. "I have a crush on you, Stormtail!" Snowtail silently wanted to kick the fledgling. "Me too!" Chirped Stormtail. Very well, then! Thought young Snowtail, as she flew in the dark sky and fought back tears. I will love you then, in silence.

It was now day, a clear, beautiful day with a blue sky lined with white clouds. The autumn trees blew in the slight breeze. This is it. Chirped Snowheart, silently looking down on Stormwing and Flowerwing. Won't he love me? Then she heard a crack and saw Stormwing grab Blossomfeather. I should help. Thought Snowheart. She was not a cold-blooded murderer. She reached out for Bluefeather and Leaffeather... But the tree fell...

Where... Where is this? Thought Snowheart as she looked up. It was Flowerwing. She looked around. "This is the CloudFlock." Chirped Flowerwing. "I love Stormwing so much, though. So I'm sending you back... You will love him for me, will you not?" Snowheart sighed. She disliked Flowerwing but she wanted to be with Stormwing again. "Close your eyes." Flowerwing chirped. Snowheart obeyed.

"Stormwing!" Yelled Snowheart. "Stormwing!" She called, but the flock-guard was in too much pain to hear her. She knew that he truly loved Flowerwing then, not her.

"Aaaaahhh!" Screeched Snowheart. "Flowerwing... Must... Rip out her feathers..." She saw that she was back in the den. Back in the time, when Stormflight loved her.

Ashtail cocked her head in confusion and started pecking the tree she was clinging quietly in stress and frustration.

"Ashtail! Come help us!" Called Shadetail. "We need all the help we can get for Firetail."

Ashtail quickly leaps from the tree and delicately floats down to Shadetail. "What is going on?" she asks.

"Firetail." She chirped and pointed to the fledgling.

Stormflight closed his eyes. "I have something that would help him." He hopped to a holly bush and plucked a berry. Poison berry. "Shadetail, there is nothing we can do... He isn't gonna make it." He looked at the flame colored fledging laying in the puddle of blood. "Im going to feed him some nightlock berries... Just to help him on his way to Cloudflock.." He took the berries and said, "It's time to say your final goodbyes, Shadetail."

(FLAMETAIL is dying. A fox got him)
