Silverfeather bowed her head to the former leader as she left.

Mooncloud stopped at the entrance. "the prophecy... Light step will fulfill it..." she said. Her shape disappeared like dust in the wind.

Lightstp's eyes widened in shock. "I must go to the cloud rock.... Now! Silverfeather, please order some patrols. Moonstar's may have left, but she intended LakeClan to stay strong!"

Sparkpaw gaped as Mooncloud left. "That's- that's it? She's just...leaving?" The small apprentice couldn't believe it, and she looked desperately at the cats around her. "Without even explaining what she means by that?"

Silverfeather nodded and faced the clan "The border patrol will be lead by Hawkbreeze and will include Firefrost, DarkIce, and Creampaw." She purposely had chosen Hawkbreeze because she didn't want to see his reaction to this whole thing. He was suppose to be leader after Moonstar, and now he is just an ordinary warrior. It was also because he was a strong warrior, she also included other warriors. Except Creampaw, who was close to becoming one. "Remember our new borders with Sunclan and sure their strong. Now for the hunting patrol. Ashwing will lead it and will include Crowpaw and Cinderwind." She hoped she did well, since this was new to her.

Lightstep nodded. "I'd actually like cream paw to come along with me to cloud rock.."

[Silvene]

Silverfeather nodded "Then Nightpaw will take her place on the patrol"

"Okay, let's go Creampaw." they left, quickly heading to the cloud clan border. They walked along the border until they came to a large rock over in no-man's land. Thy crossed the borders, stopping at the entrance to the cave-rock."Creampaw, if starclan accept me, you will become a warrior. I will be honored to name you a warrior." he walked in the cave, leaving Creampaw behind.

Silverfeather watched her new leader leave. She turned her attention back to her clan mates.

Hawkbreeze felt his entire body stiffen when Moonstar announced the new deputy and leader. He stifled a growl. But he was next in line! And Moonstar was just leaving? His eyes darkened, and he unsheathed his claws, angrily clawing the ground. He loved his clan very, very much, but this was so unfair! He knew Moonstar must have her reasons, but he didn't want to think about that. When Silverfeather called his name to go on a patrol, he didn't even look in her direction. He just nodded stiffly and padded out, tailing lashing. As soon as he got out of camp, he pinned his ears back and narrowed his eyes.
Darkice padded over to him, reaching out to comfort him, but he growled and gently pushed her away. The three of them padded forward to the border in a frost silence.

Crowpaw jumped excitedly when his name was called for a patrol. All these new changes made clan life so exciting! He padded over to Cinderwind, all ready to go. "Cinderwind! Can we go now? Pleaseeee?" he whined.

Poppypaw heard loud mews coming from her camp. "That's weird... It sounds like somethings wrong! Pantherpaw, I hate to leave you like this, especially when we were out fishing, but if cats from my clan are close by, we should probably find a way to get you out of the territory before my clanmates come along." She mewed, her bright blue eyes filled with concern for him.

Cinderwind nodded. "Yep. Oi, Ashwing, you ready?"

"Yeah!" Ashwing called, grinning. "Let's go!"
