In The Shadows (Wolf/Human) *Accepting*

[Rhapsody]

((*gasp*))

Leah changed into her wolf form. "Are you up for spying?" she asked, knowing that even in his human form Alec could understand her.

Luke shrugged. He ushered Ana inside and sat down on the over sized, overly pillowed, and overly blanketed bed. "So, how have you been?" he ventured.

[*-Insano-*]

"Not very good." Analai finally confessed this and tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"Lets do it." Alec changed to his wolf form and laughed.

[Rhapsody]

"Do you want to talk about it?" Luke said softly, wrapping his arms around Analai.

Leah tried to hold back laughter as she raced to Luke's bedroom with Alec right beside her. They got there, and Leah looked at Alec with her don't-you-dare-laugh-or-we're-dead look then pressed her ear up against the door.

"Do you know who I killed?" Ana hadn't talked to anyone about this.

Alec tried his hardest not to laugh as he listened but he couldn't do it. He burst into laughter and fell to the ground.

[Rhapsody]

"Shut up!" Leah yelled. "Oh crap. Run!" Leah grabbed Alec's scruff and started pulling him down the hall.

"I don't...but I'm sure it wasn't your fault." Luke said, kissing Ana's forehead.

Analai looked up at Luke, "It was my fault I killed my own sister. How could I do that?" She faintly heard talking but ignored it.

"It's ok they didn't hear us lets go back." Alec looked at her and pleaded with her to go back. He started walking back down at the hall.

[Rhapsody]

"Alec! You are the dumbest guy I have ever met." Leah (as a wolf, okay, not as a human) licked his face. "I love that about you. Come on." Leah trotted back towards the door.

"You can't blame this on yourself." Luke reasoned. "That's like me saying its my fault I have a brother when we all know its not."

[*-Insano-*]

Alec pressed his ear against the door and listened closely.

"Luke I did it on purpose. I meant to but now I regret it and I want her back." Analai liked the feeling of being in Luke's arms again. She looked up at him again wondering if he would kiss her.

[Rhapsody]

Leah smiled to herself and tried to listen.

"Surely you didn't kill your own sister..." Luke trailed off, shocked. He thought he knew Ana, but apparently not.

Analai saw the shocked expression on his face. She got up and walked towards the door. She had wanted this moment to be perfect and she had ruined it.


Alec backed away from the door. "She killed her sister Leah. I don't want my brother to be in danger."
