Bluefire walked into Brightstars den, and told her all about their encounter with the rouges. "That was very good thinking, Bluefire." Brightstar smiled. "We will need more border patrols out for the next week or so, just to make sure they aren't coming back." Brightstar padded out of her den. Bluefire sat down, and turned her head.

Deerpelt sat down next to Bluefire, and flicked his ears as she told the story. He yawned and then saw a nice plump shrew on the fresh-kill pile. He stood up, bowed his head to Brightstar then padded over to the fresh-kill pile, and grabbed it. He padded back and set it down, and mewed "Bluefire, would you like to share this shrew with me?" He asked, giving his long chest fur a couple of licks

Bluefires tail swayed. "Sure," she replied, sitting down a little bit away from Deerpelt. She took small bites, as shrews weren't her favourite kind of food, but they were still very tasty.

He saw she didn't prefer the shrew and mewed hastily "Would you like something else?" He asked her, nervously flicking his ears. Brushtail saw Deerpelt and Bluefire, and how Deerpelt was acting. She smiled to herself, and padded away (Forgot to add that Deerpelt and Brushtail are Littermates)
