Dovepaw looked back at the retreating forms of the Fernclan cats. She searched for Minnowpaw, and when she saw him, her heart sped up. Something about that tom... Sprinting forward to catch up to her clan, she tried (unsuccessfully) to brush away her thoughts about him. He was so.. nice, and funny, and sweet! Something about him just made her want to stay and talk to him, and spend as much time as she could with him! Maybe she could talk to him at the next gathering?

"Mm......" murmured Nettlefang. He couldn't think of anything to comfort the queen.

Silvertear limped back into the camp. She had fallen behind in the patrol, but at least she had helped. She had a new short gash on her back, and the one on her leg had reopened slightly. She sighed, sitting down with a grunt.

Berrygaze had got back from hunting and was helping with wounds.

She ran over to Silvertear with some cobwebs, "Did you win?" she asked putting some of the cobwebs on her gashes.

Silvertear gave a nod, wincing slightly as Berrygaze treated her wounds. "It was close, though. He almost beat me. He hurt my stomach, too. " she murmured, heaving a slightly painful breath.
