Kestralflight let out a low growl at the announcement of why Splashpaw left. She is needed! She could be useful when we plan an ambush on StormClan! She was fast and an amazing tree climber. He smiled at the warriors who had a chance at becoming deputy. They deserved it.. He just wished he was old enough.

Ravenfur was sad about splashpaw leaving but also happy about being chosen to be interviewed to be deputy! he padded over to goststar's den and meowed at the entrance '' may i come in?''

Featherclaw was so happy but also sad bout the news of splashpaw leaving ''i think he was very handy to have around camp!'' she thought. she was going to go to goststar's den but ravenfur was already there. so she went over to duskpool and said '' hey we got chosen to get interviewed about being deputy is that cool or what, i saw ravenfur at the entrance of goststar's den he must be going first.''

Splash sat in the tree for a few moments, until she noticed a squirrel a few branches away from her. She might as well keep her hunting abilities strong, she may need it some day. She slid down onto a thicker branch and watched the squirrel and studied her suroundings. Her blue dazzling blue eues were wide with alert. The squirrel's home was a few branches away, so if she moved quick enough, it would be a simple catch. She unsheated her claws and bunched her muscles. She took a deep breath before launching forward onto the next branch. Suprisingly, the squirrel didn't even hear her. She blinked but repositioned herself. If she could do that again silently, it would be incredibly easy to kill. She launched forward, landing squarely on the branch. The squirrel didn't move once again. She smiled faintly and launched forward, stirring a leaf. The squirrel tried to get away, but Splash was quick to respond. She seemed to fly over the branches until she was ontop the squirrel. She nipped at it and gathered it in her jaws. She climbed down the tree and dropped it at her paws. She couldn't eat this.. She had already broken the warrior code by leaving the clan for a soft life. She sighed and gathered it in her jaws. She stood in front of the fence and launched up it, scrambling up it. She trotted to the border, careful not to cross it, she tossed it into the territory.. Hopefully somebody would find it.

Ghoststar turned to the entrance of his den. He smiled and invited ravenfur. "Yes, come on in." He walked to the back of the den and layed down on some moss. "Ready for your interview?" He mewed.

Duskpool looked over at Featherclaw and nodded to her. "It's an honor to be considered for deputy. Congratulations on getting chosen to be interviewed," he mewed softly. He couldn't help but think that maybe if he had been a better mentor, Splashpaw wouldn't have decided to leave the clan.

Lostpaw still sat where she had for the meeting, wondering why Splashpaw had decided to leave. She hadn't seen her much, but she had seemed like a nice cat and a good apprentice.

Paleblaze padded over to Rosepool quietly. "Hello," she mewed.

Shadowpaw looked around the clearing at his clanmates. He noticed Paleblaze talking to Rosepool and wondered yet again why the she-cat had had to follow him here.

Splash watched the border for a moment. She fealt broken.. She thought she had finally found where she belonged. Her small shoulders sagged. What did Duskpool think? Was he happy that he could get a better and more improved apprentice? She sighed and turned from the border. Things would only get better if she walked away. She strode back to the fence and trotted in place before pulling herself up. She flung herself over the top of the fence and landed briskfully on her paws. She smiled faintly and trotted to the door. She pawed at it gently and let out a small mrrrow. A two leg opened the door. She padded in and layed down in her bed. She turned onto her back and watched a thing go in circles. (A fan).

Kestralflight sat in camp. Thoughts flooded his mind. Why had Splashpaw truly left? He sighed deeply and layed down on his belly. He looked strait forward.

Rosepool dipped her head in greeting to Paleblaze. "Hello," she replied. Her gold eyes were troubled as she gazed at the warrior. "Do you know why Splashpaw would leave? I can't imagine why anyone would want to be a kittypet..."

Kestralflight's ears pricked and he sat up. He padded to the two fellow warrior. "I don't understand either... She pretty much said she wasn't good enough.." He mewed quietly. "Not that i'm an expert or anything."
