Ravenfur was so tired that he decided to go sleep in the corner of the camp where it was shady.

Featherclaw finished building the warriors den and saw that Ravenfur was sleeping in one of the corners of the camp. she padded over to him and meowed '' hey you can go sleep in the warriors den now i finished it''. Featherclaw started looking around camp and saw that goststar was standing on the high rock staring at splash paw ''whats going on over there'' she told herself. she padded over to splash paw and meowed '' hey whats going on? Is goststar going to hold a clan meeting?''

Splashpaw nodded gently. She glanced around before padding out of camp. She raised her chin and forced the tears not to fall. The lump in her throat growing with every step. As she padded through the familiar territory, it began harder and harder to keep going. She stopped at her favorite tree and looked up into the high branches. She padded to the trunk and unsheated her long, thin claws. She put her paws up as high as she could and pulled down, pulling down the bark. Her mark would always be there. She turned away and padded past the border. She took a deep breath and padded to her old home. Four two legs lived in this home. Two older ones, and two young ones. She padded to the door and let out a small meow. She waited another moment before mewing again, and this time a familiar face appeared in the door window. A smile appeared on the face and the door opened. Splashpaw took a deep breath before entering into the arms of the two leg. She would be called Splash, since that was her name before. The two leg yowled some words across the house and the rest of the family came, talking softly and smiling at the sight of their long lost pet. Soon, Splash was sitting in her soft, fluffy bed with her favorite kibble and a bowl of water sitting in front of her. She wore neon blue collar with a stone on it. She layed down with her chin on her paws.

Rosepool stared sadly after Splashpaw before padding silently over to gather underneath Ghoststar. She couldn't understand why Splashpaw would want to leave the Clan. Why would any cat want to live the life of a kittypet? Sighing to herself, she turned her gaze to Ghoststar, wondering who he would chose to be deputy of Spirit Clan.

Splash yawned and lapped the cool water from the bowl. She looked at her reflection. She wasn't even pretty. She sighed gently when a mouse toy landed in front of her. Instinctivly, she pounced on it perfectly. She nipped at it sharply. Cat nip washed over her tongue. She smiled and bit into it again. At least she didn't have to hunt for her food anymore!

(Kaige, is it alright if I make another kittypet the also joins the clan when Splash returns?)

Ghoststar frowned when Splashpaw left. He turned to his clan. "Every cat old enough to catch their own prey, gather here around the pool for a clan meeting." He announced to the clan cats.

Kestralflight watched the apprentice leave. His eyes cast down. Even though she was young, she was probably one of the best tree climbers. She was fearless and gutsy. He looked away and sat down in front of high rock. He looked up at Ghoststar. "Is there a reason that she left?" He asked.

Splash hopped onto the wooden thing they called a desk. She padded across it, weaving around the items on it. She sat in front of it, watching the birds fly by. Her eyes moved to her reflection. She raised her chin and put her chest out a little more and folded her tail over her paws. She looked like a warrior, but she wasn't one, she knew it. Tree climbing wasn't a talent, it was a hobby, and it did no good for the clan. She noticed the door was open slightly and she slid through and trotted to her favorite tree. She bunched her muscles and pushed up powerfully, gripping the trunk with her claws. She slithered up the tree quickly, smiling at the familiar scent. She padded clear up to the top, where the branches were thin and bounced in the wind. She perched on one and looked over the fence, at the territory. She could see the clearing where the camp was, but she couldn't see any cats. All she saw was blurs moving around camp. She blinked sadly and looked away.

Venompaw gathered around the pool. She had seen Splashpaw leave. It was sad to see one of her clan mates leave.

Ghoststar looked down at Kestralflight. He then looked out at the Other cats. "I have some bad news." he paused for a moment. "Splashpaw has left. She didn't feel needed in the clan, so she decided to be a kittypet again." He told the news.

Rosepool glanced around at her fellow Clanmates before turning her attention back to Ghoststar. Her ears twitched slightly as she anticipated his next bit of news, excitement momentarily taking over the sadness of Splashpaw leaving.

Ghoststar contunued. "I need to assign a deputy. So, I have thought about the warriors that are old enough to be deputy. I am going to interview each of the chosen warriors. The warriors chosen to be interviewed are: Ravenfur, Duskpool, and featherclaw. Please come to my den one by one to have your interview." He flicked his tail and nodded once. He climbed down from the high rock and hopped onto each stone in the pool until he was back on land. He padded to his den with his head down.
