(This. I don't have anything against any of you, and there is no need to take things so seriously. Think about it as adding drama. Sweetpaw will still interact with the Clan, and I have Rainheart too. It isn't like I'm leaving forever. Remember that each character is their own. Sweetpaw doesn't realize the feelings she has for Hawkclaw, so she defended him in the way she would. Her character gets snappy easily, and I've struggled portraying it. She holds grudges too, but please, please, don't take it personally.)

The familiar scents had once meant home, but now they meant nothing to him. He felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, a weight he'd carried since Silverstar had become leader of Snowclan. Now he was free to do whatever he pleased. He knew living without the support of his clanmates...eh, ex clanmates would be hard, but he was a strong cat. He could do it. Suddenly a familiar scent reached him and he turned to see Sweetpaw barreling towards him. Confusion flooded his mind and he sat down, neatly wrapping his tail around his paws, waiting for her to catch up. Is she going to try to get me to come back? he asked himself, his green eyes carefully shielded. If she was, it wouldn't work. He was done with the clan 'politics'.
Sweetpaw skidded to a halt next to Hawkclaw, panting heavily as her leg throbbed painfully from all the running. Taking a few moments to catch her breath, she drew her tail over her now-muddy paws as she sat on her haunches, and twisted her head to look at the tom. What could she say?
"Why?"
That seemed to be right. Why had he left? Why did he exile himself. And the question was party to herself. Why had she run off, cursing her leader?
