~ENTRY PIECE~

Featherkit couldn't wait another moment. For the first time she excitedly stretched open her eyes. She looked forward and saw a bloody mass of fur in the teeth of a badger. She blinked, starting slowly backwards."No..." she murmured. Stifling a wail, she dug her claws into the ground. She darted at the badger, blinded by fury. She raked her claws through its pelt, tearing off a chunk of flesh and fur. The badger; or, what was left of it; flung a punishing blow at Featherkit before landing defeated on the ground. Featherkit drew her satisfied gaze to her mother's eyes, staring ahead but seeing nothing. Featherkit's wounds; combined with an acute case of whitecough; grew to be too much for her. With a mourning wail, she fainted to the ground beside her mother.

Russetfur was shivering. She had a high fever and was feeling horrible. Her kits were in the medicine cats den. Russetfur had protested at first, but over time she finally agreed. She couldn't fall asleep. Her head ached. She couldn't eat. She was miserable.
(Sorry for short post, I am feeling that way in RL. I am up to 104.2)

Warrior Cat:
Dewpaw (later Dewflower)

Position:
Medicine cat apprentice?

Description:
Dewpaw is a small grey tabby cat, with silver eyes. She has a few medium grey stripes on her body, and her tummy is white. Her silvers eyes, though eery looking, are always kind and gentle, paired with whiskers that are long and give her an almost comic look. She has a long tail and small paws, adding to the delicacy and softness of her stature.

Personality:
Dewpaw is a sweet cat, as a medicine cat should be. She is incredibly gentle, and almost never gets angry. She is more than willing to sacrifice herself for a Clanmate. It takes her all but falling over before she will rest, and take care of herself. She hates to see others suffer, and will do anything she can to stop it. If a cat is suffering too horribly, she will asks StarClan to let her assume some of the pain, make their pain less, and that usually is granted. She, because of this, has a unique connection with StarClan. She is incredibly loyal to her clan and the cats she loves, and will do anything to save them. She tends to be scatterbrained, adn forgets where she left this cobweb or that berry, but she still gets the job done.

Quirks and/or Habits:
She tends to twitch her ears when she is thinking, and her whiskers when she is angry. It is sometimes rather hard to take her seriously.

Background:
Dewpaw and her brother, Stormpaw, were both born and raised in SnowClan. Their mother died when they were only 4 moons old, and ever since, they have kept the determination to be the best they can be and make her proud.




Warrior Cat Name:
Stormpaw (later Stormsky)

Position:
Warrior apprentice

Description:
Stormpaw is a large, completely grey cat, with green eyes. He is muscular and burly, with huge paws and a short tail. He almost always looks angry or peeved, but in all reality, he is just determined to be the best he can be.

Personality:
Stormpaw is a determined cat. He is loud and always wants to have his opinion known. He also gripes about everything he is told to do. In reality though, he always does what he is told, and gets it doen right the first time. He wants to strive to be the absolute best, no matter what it takes. Despite his "get it done" attitude, much like his sister, Stormpaw has a compassionate side, and will help out where he can.

Quirks and/or Habits:
He tends to flick his claws in and out when he is focusing on something, and obsessively grooms his chest when he is nervous.

Background:

She smiled weakly, following his gaze to across the horizon. For some reason, now she didn't feel so worried about the clan. Maybe it was because she was beginning to sense a strength in her clan. Sure, warriors were disappearing, but it didn't seem too bad because they still had many strong warriors and kits growing in the clan to become a part of it.

Still, there did seem to be a dark horizon ahead of them, and Rockfoot surmised it was more than just Hawkclaw and Sweetpaw. She couldn't place what it was though.

"You slept well, I hope?"

A small start at conversation, but still an attempt.

(I'm wondering if I should perhaps introduce NPC cats, mainly for the fact that some are taking on a heavier workload than others. I'd like a vote to see who might like the idea of NPCs. They'll be permanent parts of the clan, so they'll never 'disappear', and because they are NPCs, anyone can grab them and use them for what they need. That way members of the RP can go back to an easier workload. Of course, their only positions will be as warriors, elders, queens, starclan cats, rogues, other clan cats, and kitty pets.)

(I'm sorry I haven't been on D: First I was out of town, then when I returned my internet failed unespectedly. Now I'm back though c: Oh, and Yuna, I really like the NPC idea ;D thought I would just say so, even if you're doing it anyway. )

Russetflame smiled at Rockfoot's friendlyness, "Yes, I did," he meowed. His green eyes studied the elder for a moment, detecting a somewhat optimistic air to her, "And you had a good rest as well?" he offered. Russetflame was glad to have some company, but for the life of him he couldn't think of anything to say. Still smiling, he let out a small, contented sigh. Hopefully Russetflame would regain his sociality as the day progressed.

(I'm planning on adding some more characters, can I just add them to my existing form? Aha ha... too late. I added two new charries.)

Rockfoot smiled stronger now and stretched languidly.

"Yes, I did sleep well. But I'm an elder, so even if I hadn't, I could lay around and catch up on it." She joked, and kneaded her paws calmingly against the stone. She had been apprehensive about talking to him at first, but he didn't seem so bad. He seemed just like her when it came to social awkwardness, and it was something she could relate to.

"I suppose you've heard about Brokenshadow about to get his nine lives, have you not?" She asked.
