Brokenshadow flicked his ears at Riverfire. He muttered back, "I'm not trying to start bloodshed." He kept his voice neutral. "I'm making sure bloodshed doesn't begin." He nodded to Moonshadow. "Go ahead."

[Keriae]

Confusion swirled in the she-cat's mind as she listened to what Sweetpaw and Hawkclaw had said. It seemed they had reasons they'd left, reasons they firmly believed in. Love for Sweetpaw, grief for Hawkclaw. But...Silverstar made it seem like they'd left randomly. Padding over to Rainheart, she leaned against him, just so that her whispers wouldn't be overheard. "Rainheart, I'm so confused. I thought they left for no reason?" Shaking her head, the she-cat sat down, her ears pulled slightly back as she listened to the conversation going on.

Rainheart turned his head to look at her, confusion showing in his eyes. He didn't like how close she was to him, but he pushed it aside, trying to answer her question. "So did I. But I do trust that Sweetpaw was telling the truth for why she left. Hawkclaw too." He whispered back, and joined her sitting down, wondering what would happen next.

"Then please tell your warrior to refrain from insulting my mate." That was all he said before turning and pressing his pelt against Sweetpaw's. "Let's go take our last look at these lands. Perhaps Sunclan is in need of some strong warriors." Flicking his tail, the tom padded forward, ignoring the fact that they were supposed to be escorted. He needed no escort.

Sweetpaw nodded, smiling, and followed Hawkclaw, padding next to him. she didn't glance back at Silverstar and her warriors, and she made no mention of their 'escorts'. They were perfectly capable of looking around without their ex-clanmates showing them everything and making sure that they left. Briefly, the she-cat wondered if they would acctually go to SunClan and see if they could join.

[Chameleon]

Moonshadow nodded at Brokenshadow and Silverstar. "I will restrain myself." He smiled a little and looked at Riverfire. "You take the front, I'll take the back." Moonshadow slowed, letting everyone pass. He trotted in behind and padded along through SnowClan territory. He sighed and glanced around, wondering why they had to "see the territory one last time". He continued padding along, keeping a sharp eye on the rouges.

Silverstar nodded, watching the rouges pad away and get small, disappearing from sight. She looked at Brokenshadow and the patrol. "Let's head back to camp." She lashed her silver tail and padded through the patrol, heading back towards camp.

Brokenshadow dipped his head and leaned in close to Silverstar as the walked back to camp. "You alright?" he asked. He could still feel some sort of tension in the air.

[Chameleon]

Silverstar kept her gaze ahead, her stomach twisting and jumping, for some odd reason. She sighed and closed her eyes. "I don't know. It's just...I hope I'm doing the right thing." Silverstar was doing a rare thing; showing doubt and weakness. But, she could trust her deputy and she had to spill the beans to someone. She was dying to talk. Silverstar opened her silver eyes and glanced at Brokenshadow, her eyes swirling with mixed emotions.

Brokenshadow looked back at her. "You can tell me, you know," he meowed softly, hoping she trusted him enough. He felt a twinge in his stomach, looking into her eyes like this, but he didn't break away from her gaze, trying to tell her with his eyes that he wouldn't share anything she told him if she didn't want him to. He flicked his ears encouragingly.

[Keriae]

Sweetpaw didn't even look back at Moonshadow. Instead,she was controling her anger, keeping it inside of her so it wouldn't raise it's ugly head and make her attack. She didn't want to attack without reason, but she couldn't help feeling that she would have a reason anyway; They wanted to stay on this land, and if Moonshadow pushed her.....
Flicking her tail tip as she walked, the ex-apprentice nuzzled her nose into the neck fur of Hawkclaw, purring.

[Chameleon]

Silverstar ducked her head and sighed softly. She padded across the moor, her large paws making no sound as she walked. Her silver fur brushed Brokenshadow's and she didn't make a move to break away. Silverstar closed her grey eyes. "I've only been appointed leader about two moons ago. I have no clue how well I'm doing and I just hope my Clanmates believe in me. I want SnowClan to be strong and my name to be remembered throughout history." She stopped there, flicking her ears and meeting her deputy's strong gaze.

Brokenshadow blinked at her. "You are doing well as a leader," he meowed reassuringly. "Even if no one else believes in you, just know that I do." He was silent for a moment, then continued, "And I will remember you always." He felt his blood pounding in his ears. Saying this felt risky to him. Would Silverstar pull away from him now? He did feel something for her, but he wasn't sure if she felt the same for him.

[Chameleon]

Silverstar felt her legs wobble for a second and she stopped, catching herself. Her grey eyes were closed and she breathed slowly. She shook her head and started walking again, her head spinning. Silverstar pressed closer against him, her eyes bright and her heart pounding. She couldn't hide it anymore. Her feelings were too great. "Brokenshadow...I-." It was rare that a cat had made her scramble for words. "I appreciate what you said. It's...the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me." She blinked slowly. "You are an honorable deputy and I'm proud to be your leader. But...I...need to know. Do you feel how I feel?"
