((lol I hate love you all. I was prowling cs yesterday day for 4 hours straight, bored half to death waiting to be picked up and like no one was on. Since it was late I had decided to go to bed and then I woke up and saw like ten pages lol))

Absence

We don't need to escalate, You see, war is not the answer

Absence blinked at all of them. "Hey stop pawing me! Awaken is holding her! Not me!" he said annoyed. "sheth sate vike icken." Awaken said through a mouth full of fur. Sky just hissed and cursed at all of them and continued to struggle widely. Absence narrowed his eyes. "Awaken, hold her still for a second." he commanded. He nodded then put her on the ground, his good paw preventing her movements. Absence cautiously sniffed her. "Hm, no doubt! Your a Mareep!" he said. "Awaken's ears started to twitch. "Your enemy correct?" he asked. Normally Absence would deal with a situation like this immediately but today was not a normal day. "Star, you have a good heart and mind, take care of the fluff ball how you see fit for a while. Do NOt let her go." He ordered before walking away. Awaken then grabbed Sky again and placed her in front of Star before limping after Absence.

When he was a good couple miles from camp he stopped running to sit down. His shoulder in immense pain. His face now looking depressed and dead. Letting the sad and confused feelings flow into him. Yes the dream still got to him, much to his dismay. He looked behind to see Awaken appear from some bushes. "Tch, tch! What's wrong? Your soul feels like it use to feel everyday when I first knew you. Which im pretty sure isn't healthy." Absence glared at him. "Why did you start the fight. Why are you acting like a jerk in front of them?" Absence practically growled the words out. Awaken smiled then nudge Absence. "Your confidence is shrinking or so ive notice. So im just making it look like your worse off then you really are. That way those who threaten you come out early. Its called deceiving my Frater." he said gently. Absence frowned. "I cant tell if your lying or just deceiving me....probably both." he sighed sadly. Awaken just licked his lips(John style :D -is shot-). "Your accent is still strong if I may say..And Awaken, you are not my Vox Fratris(basically saying The voice of brother)." he said coldly. Awaken looked hurt. This must obviously be a home culture matter. Absence turned his head. He didn't want to look at Awaken's sad face. "W-well that's ok! We have things to discuss b-but we'll talk about them later...I need to go.." his voice wavered and he ran off as fast as he could. Absence cursed to himself. "Great, I made him cry. Your on a role today Absence.." he thought, now feeling even worse.

The royal blue Persian stood on the far side of the mountains, fur frozen into spikes from her midnight crossing. The obsidian gem on her forehead was covered in creeping frost, spreading like cracks across its surface. Her breath fogged the air before her nose and mouth as she looked out over the grasslands of the south- her old home. The one she had spent so much time running from. And yet, she knew it so well. It was the only place she had ever loved and hated at the same time, the only place where she had ever felt truly safe.

Rex yawned and stretched. Houndooms were early risers. Back in his pack, they had all got up at the dawn to sing for the sun. That was... was.... until that happened. He shook his head to clear it. He had abandoned tradition for a long time.... He would wake others up, but he decided to sing anyway. His voice wasn't too bad. Looking for the highest point in camp, he scanned the area. Finding a rock where Absence often called meetings, he clambered up. Usually, the song would be of joy and the warmth of a new day. After all that had happened, Rex chnaged had changed the lyrics alittle. Many Pokemon found the music beautiful, but only those close to the Houndooms and Houndours could truly undertsnad the song. Looking to the sky, Rex began his song.

Aria's ears twitched and she opened her eyes, hearing something strange in camp..A pokemon...Singing? The weavile sat up, still half asleep, and tried to listen, as the lyrics were kind of sad, but it was still a nice song.

Absence's ears perked up as he heard a familiar howl. He got up and stared at the sky. It was the first known sign of Rex before the Earthquake had hit. The howl made him feel all the more empty. He frowned before sitting back down on his haunches to join the song. His howl may have been better if he knew the move howl like some of the other Ninetales he met. But no, so he did his best and added his own song to the howl. It was a weak and morbid/frustrating song, completely highlighted with the feeling of loneliness.
