Joe shook his head."I don't live at the barn."he said before walking into the woods.He felt weird and walked back to the barn.

Jake knocked on the door harder."Janie?"he called.

Janie opened the door. "What?" She asked quietly.

Flicka stopped at the doors of the hospital, looking inside

"Can I come in?"h asked quietly.

Joe walked over to Janie's cabin and stood awkwardly in front of it.

The vet gently put a needle into Flicka's neck and gave her a medicine that would knock her out.

Janie nodded. "Yeah." She stood back, letting him in. Janie looked at Joe.

Joe looked at the ground and stepped back.

Jake walked into Janie's cabin.He saw Janie's phone.

Flicka snorted, pulling away form the vet, galloping away, starting to buck, making her leg worse

"Mares." The vet sighed.

Janie walked over and sat on her bed. She laid down and stared at the ceiling.

Flicka pinned her ears, still bucking

Joe sat outside.It started to thunder storm.Joe was in a t-shirt.Shivering he stood on Janie's cabin porch to stay out of the rain.

Jake heard someone on the porch and tensed.
