Rose galloped down to Diablo. "What happened?" She asked Dancer.

"He got kicked!"Dancer cried.Standing up she raced into the woods running faster and faster."Oh if I had only stayed away from Diablo he wouldn't be hurt!"she thought.Finally she stopped running.Laying down under a tree she cried herself to sleep.

Alec put his hand on Janie's shoulder."Janie I am truly sorry!I am sure the vet can help."Alec said dialing the vets number on his cell phone.

Black raced deeper into the woods until he was totally lost."I wonder if Alec will ever miss me?"he thought.

Diablo watched as Dancer left. He tried to whinny to her, but nothing would come out.

Rose rested her head on Alec's arm.

Janie closed her eyes, trying to breath normally.

Alec hung up on his cell phone."The vet is on her way.I am sure Diablo is going to be fine."he said gently kneeling next to Janie.Turning to the mare rubbing against him he gently stroked her mane.

Alec gently gave Janie a hug."I have seen this happen on race tracks before and the horse usually gets better."he said reassuringly, not adding that one time a horse died from a kick in the side.

Black sighed and grabbed a mouthful of grass.

Dancer groaned and opened her eyes.Remembering what had happened she raced deeper into the woods until she was lost."I hope Diablo gets better!"she thought galloping in a random direction.

Dreamer stood up and jumped into the river.

Matt looked around.Walking towards the fields he saw a girl and boy kneeling next to a horse.Running over he stopped and said"Whats wrong?Can I help?"
